Astrological "Marker" for Suicide/Parasuicide 1 by Zachariel Happy Easter Sunday to everybody! [First of all I want to express my gratitude to Cemal! Thank you Cemal! Without Cemals heartwarming support the formatting problem of this posting would still exist. And of course I also want to thank Prof. Dr. Martin Gansten, Forum-Moderator, for deleting the old unformatted version of my posting.] Suicide and Parasuicide are difficult, sometimes controversial topics due to religious and/or ideological issues. The forum member linchi has published an extensive case-study (July 23, 2018) comprising of 363 suicide/parasuicide-cases in total, titled "Astrological Research Suicide". One can find this publication in: https://archive.org/details/Astrologica ... trological Research Suicide_1 On page 11 Linchi states : Suicidal thoughts (Mercury) are a compulsive (Node) desire (Moon) to leave the life (Mars/Saturn). The thoughts (Mercury) and psyche (Moon) are with death (Mars/Saturn) eclipsed (Node). He then shows a planetary picture (in glyphs). On the left side of the equation one can see the Midpoint-structure of Mars/Saturn. On the right side of the equation there are three Midpoint-structures in vertical order: Moon/Mercury; Moon/Node; Mercury/Node. He states then : "If it is suicide, then at least one of the above equation should occur." At the end of page 11 he states: "This work is intended for psychologists and psychiatrists so that they can foresee if the patient has a suicidal tendency, if so, when it is acute ? ,can determine year and month even the day and take measures." This statement is very important. No one should try to predict without cause, merely out of the blue not only because of ethical reasons! The meanings of planets and also planetary pictures are not one-dimensional but multi-faceted and this fact alone can lead astrologers astray. So we always have to bear this on mind! Today I'd like to introduce two cases (not included in linchi's elaborated case-study). Case #1: BENNINGTON Chester, American singer, songwriter, musician, and actor Source: https://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Be ... n,_Chester and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chester_Bennington * March 20, 1976, 22:41 (10:41 PM) GMT-7 Phoenix, Arizona, USA † July 20, 2017 Palos Verdes Estates, Los Angeles, CA, USA (Quote-Wikipedia: "His death was ruled a suicide by hanging.") Radix - Harmonic 16: In the birthchart itself we can see this planetary picture: MA/SA = MO/ME Solar Return - Harmonic 16 (year of death): We find planetary picture: MOsol/MEsol = MAr/SAr Lunar Return Progressed - Harmonic 16: We identify planetary picture: MAlun/SAlun = NOlun/MElun = MOr/MOr Secundary Progression - Harmonic 16 Planetary picture: MAsp/SAsp = MOr/NOr Case #2: BERMAN David, American musician, singer, poet and cartoonist Source: https://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Berman,_David and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Berman_(musician) * January 4, 1967, 07:15 EST Williamsburg, Virginia, USA † August 7, 2019 Brooklyn (Park Slope), New York, USA (Quote-Wikipedia: "Berman died on August 7, 2019, by hanging himself in an appartment in the Park Slope neighbourhood of Brooklyn, New York. He was 52 years old.") Radix - Harmonic 64: Planetary picture in Radix: MA/SA = MO/ME = MO+ME = (MO/NO)/(ME/NO) Solar Return - Harmonic 64: Planetary picture: MOsol/MEsol = MAsol/SAsol = MAr/SAr But we also could choose Harmonic 32 (11°15') and can see under: Solar Return - Harmonic 32: Planetary picture: MOsol/MEsol = MAr/SAr (= SUr/SUr) Secundary Progression conv. - Harmonic 32: Planetary picture: MOsp/MEsp = MAsp/SAsp and with Tertiary - Harmonic 32: Planetary picture: MAter/SAter = MOr/NOr Because I'm no native english speaker my english is not good. Sorry for that. Zachariel Quote Mon Apr 05, 2021 4:42 pm
by linchi Hi Zachariel, I am glad that you bring additional examples about suicide that confirms my statement. I am even more pleased that an astrologer on such an important subject makes the effort to examine my statement and writes in public. I hope that there will be more honest and truth-seeking astrologers, that astrology will develop further and get a more dignified place in society, because astrology is very helpful and accurate tool not only for astrologers but for scientists, psychologists, doctors and forensic pathologists. Thank you Greetings https://archive.org/details/@cemalcicek Quote Wed Apr 07, 2021 8:20 am
by Zachariel Hi linchi, perhaps next time I can add a few more examples to demonstrate that your statements about the astrological markers in question are correct. I‘m sad that Microastrology is widely ignored. It surely would deserve much more attention. Regards Zachariel Quote Wed Apr 07, 2021 1:27 pm
by Therese Hamilton It is interesting to see some of Linchi's work supported and verified. I don't have the ability to do this myself. Thank you, Zachariel. 5 by Zachariel Hi Therese, thank you for your kind words. I appreciate your contribution to the sidereal forum. All the best to you! Zachariel Quote Thu Apr 08, 2021 6:42 pm
by Therese Hamilton Zachariel, I do appreciate your appreciation. I know I'm not popular with some Skyscript members due of my insistence that the sidereal zodiac is the only 'true' zodiac for astrology related to human beings. (Certain mundane topics can successfully use the tropical zodiac.) There is so much universal symbolism that supports the sidereal zodiac and sidereal sign rulership. I think I might do a post on number symbolism and how it aligns with the energy of sidereal signs. I look forward to future posts that support Linchi's work! http://www.snowcrest.net/sunrise/LostZodiac.htm Quote Thu Apr 08, 2021 9:00 pm

by Zachariel Knightinte, I thank you for your nice words. Now I'd like to add some more examples. My first example is just an addition to one example introduced by linchi in his already mentioned publication "Astrological Research Suicide" (23 July 2018) on page 120 (Brad DELP, American musician). Linchi has already published the Progressed Lunar Return Chart (H-16) and the Solar Return chart (H-16). Here I only will add Tertiary (Harmonic 16). Tertiary (Harmonic 16) Tertiary MA/SA = Radix ME/NO Next example: FLACK Caroline, English television and radio presenter https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caroline_Flack https://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Flack,_Caroline * 9 November 1979 at 01:30 GMT Enfield, England, 51n40, 000w05 † 15 February 2020 London (Stoke Newington), England, 51°n33'40", 000°w05'01" Wikipedia: Flack was found dead in her flat, in Stoke Newington, London, on 15 February 2020, aged 40. The lawyer acting for her family stated that her death was a suicide. ... The inquest into her death opened on 19 February and heard she had been found hanged in her flat. Solar Return (Harmonic 16) Solar MA/SA = Solar ME/ME = Solar NEPTUN = Radix HADES (HADES is a Transneptunian, detected by Alfred Witte) Witte-Lefeldt: Rules for Planetary Pictures (German edition 1959, p. 309): NEPTUN/HADES = "lack of air" (ger.: "Luftmangel") Lunar Return (Harmonic 16) Lunar MA/SA = Radix ME/NO PLATH Sylvia, American poet, novelist, and short-storywriter https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sylvia_Plath https://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Plath,_Sylvia * 27 October 1932, at 14:10 (=2:10 PM) EST Boston, Massachusetts, USA, 42n22, 071w04 † 11 February 1963 Primrose Hill, London, England, 51°n32'29", 000°w09'12" Astro-Databank: Just one month after the publication of "The Bell Jar", on a frigid wintry day in England, she tucked her two small children savely away in their room, set out milk and cookies for them, and put her head in their London flat's gas oven, ending her life on February 11, 1963. She was just 30 years old. Radix (Harmonic 512) Radix MA/SA = Radix MO/NO Lunar Return (Harmonic 512) Lunar MA/SA = Radix MO/ME Progressed Lunar Return (Harmonic 512) Lunar MA/SA = Radix MO/NO Tertiary (Harmonic 512) Tertiary MA/SA = Radix MO/ME All these examples are without any doubt very sad ones! Now I will add my last one for this time, Alfred Witte, a very gifted astrologer who introduced scientific method to astrology. He became one of the myriads of victims of the criminal Nazi gang. Alfred Witte, surveyor; astrologer, astronomer, founder of the Hamburg School of Astrology (Uranian Astrology) By the way, Linchi has published a very important work: "The exact time of death and birth time correction" (29 April 2018). On page 76 you can find Alfred Witte introduced by Linchi as an example of his technique. Below you can see my result of correcting the birth time with Linchi's technique: Note: The birth time and time of death that I use differ slightly from Linchi's time because I use slightly different coordinates (birth and death location). I used the coordinates, introduced by Karsten F. Kröncke in https://astrologiewslforum.astrax.de/vi ... zeit#p1399 In this german-speaking astro-forum there is one mistake: The year of birth is not as stated there "1876" but of course "1878". http://alfred-witte.de/en/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfred_Witte * Saturday, 2 March 1878, 21:11:49 LMT (corr. BT) Hamburg, Center, D, 53°33'10", 009°59'31" † Monday, 4 August 1941, 04:01:00 CETS Hamburg, Hohenfelde-Süd, D, 53°N33'04", 010°e39'00" https://www.wikiwand.com/de/Alfred_Witte (quote / translated): After the 'deputy leader' Rudolf Heß had flown to England on 10th of May 1941 in an absolutely autonomous act, at the beginning of June 1941 astrology publications and the practice of astrology were banned, as well as numerous astrologers were arrested and some were sent to concentration camps. Alfred Witte had not been arrested, but had to report regularly to the Gestapo. Exhausted by this and due to fears of endangering the pension during an arrest, Alfred Witte committed suicide on August 4, 1941, which allowed him to maintain his pension entitlement to the state for his family. Witte had probably assumed that his dismissal from public service of Hamburg was imminent - with or without arrest. Lunar Return (Harmonic 16) Lunar MA/SA = Lunar SU = Radix MO/ME Minor conv. (Harmonic 16) Minor conv. MA/SA = MO/ME = Radix MO Secundary Progressions conv (Harmonic 16) Secundary Progr. conv. MA/SA = Radix ME/NO These examples may raise the assumption that we can find the predicted astrological markers for suicide (or suicide attempts) always but this is not the case. There are examples where I have not been able to detect these predicted markers and I don't know why. But in many cases we actually can find these markers introduced by linchi in his magnificent writing "Astrological Research Suicide", published on 23 July 2018. Zachariel P.S.: The software I used: Astroprocessor ZET 9.2.63 Geo (Anatoly Zaytsev) Astrolabe Nova Chartwheels V. 0.985 (Gary Christen) Quote Sat Apr 17, 2021 9:10 pm

by Zachariel Hi linchi, my efforts to demonstrate the concerning markers proved futile relating to three examples (not many examples, I know): Example #1: BENJAMIN Walter, German literary critic, philosopher, social critic, translator, radio broadcaster and essayist https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter_Benjamin https://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Benjamin,_Walter * 15 July 1892, 22:30 LMT (m13e21) Berlin, Germany, 52n29, 013e21 Suicide (morphine tablets): † 26 September 1940 (time unknown) GMD - Greenwich Mean Daylight (-01:00:00) Portbou, Catalonia, Spain, 42°n25'37.931", 003°e09'35.17" Janus showed me GMD as time-zone! Neither Janus nor ZET Geo include Portbou in their atlases! I had to edit both atlases. In ZET it is not that easy, but in Janus it's easaly done! Example #2: DEWAERE Patrick, French actor, singer-songwriter https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patrick_Dewaere https://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Dewaere,_Patrick * 26 January 1947, 10:30 MET St. Brieuc, France, 48n31, 002w47 Suicide (shot himself) † 16 July 1982 Paris, France Example #3: Female teenager https://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Re ... nged_44253 "Australian suicide, a young girl who hanged herself at home a week before her 17th birthday, 11/201992." * 27 November 1975 at 18:06 AEDT (H11e) Frankston, Australia, 38s08, 145e07 † 20 November 1992 I must confess that I didn't examine example #3 in depth due to lack of spare time. And of course with regard to the other examples #1 & #2 it is possible that I made some mistakes or may have missed important details. It would be great if you would prove my statement in my recent posting wrong in successfully managing to detect the predicted markers in relation to these three examples! 12 by Zachariel Hi linchi, I must have been blind or something, sorry for this. Too much hurrying not putting enough attention towards these examples. Pertaining to Dewaere I had forgotten that you already had introduced him in your publication. And I didn't find the astrological marker myself because I only had focused from "outer ring to inner ring" and not vice versa. As I wrote before I'm happy that the predicted astrological planetary pictures (astrological marker) are integral part in the totality of the introduced examples! The ultimate goal of this remarkable finding is to bring benefit for suicidal endangered people, preventing to end life by suicide. Maybe one day - in not too distant future this knowledge will be incorporated in life sciences, who knows? Edwin S. Shneidman, late clinical psychologist, an approved pioneer in the department of suicidology in the USA identified the intense, all-pervasive emotional pain that suicidal people typically feel as one crucial element that "force" peope into the suicidal act (to get released from this unbearable pain!). Shneidman called this kind of pain "psychache". When I meditate upon the relevant planetary picture MA/SA = MO/ME ... MO/NO ... ME/NO I must say that for me it fits well to this psychache and the redemptive act of suicide, trying to evade this unbearable kind of pain. Quote Sun Apr 18, 2021 7:54 pm
