With regard to distribution in the US, I just had the message below from the publisher of my forthcoming book (currently expected to be released in 2-3 weeks' time):
BTW we're having problems getting UK titles onto Amazon.com. It seems that they aren't listing books that they believe will have to be imported. Due to all the ongoing Covid 19 issues it's almost impossible to get stuff to the US apparently (thankfully we don't need to). As soon as the book is uploaded to Lightning Source it will go into the distribution channels and hopefully get onto their website because it's available within the US. But there might be a delay - just so you know and just in case you have any enquiries.

The Jewel of Annual Astrology arrived today from Amazon. This is a very BIG (and heavy) book, 1030 pages. I very much like how the cover photo is part of the hardback binding and not a a paper slip cover that can get torn and aged. As with Ben Dykes' translations, I'm sure Martin's Introduction and personal notes throughout the text will be very interesting and of great value. This book will occupy my study time for the remainder of the year at least.

The text will always be the definitive reference source for India's Tajika system and its link to western systems. It's a wonderful contribution to India's astrology and the academic world. The book is worth much more than the discounted US $90 that Brill is charging. The text is printed on expensive long lasting acid free paper. When these scholarly translations go out of print, their price jumps astronomically on the second hand market. So for anyone interested in this topic, the time to buy the book is now. Thank you, Martin!!
