Will I buy the rifle?
Being emigrant in the US from Eastern Europe I never seriously thought about such things. Now it's more actualized because of recent violence around, many people bought something for home self-defense who never used weapon.
Almost decided to buy a rifle but someone recommended don't do that because "it's not naturally yours".
That probably described in horary by close separating square Moon-Sun.
Though, applying trine Moon-Mercury, while with close square Mercury-Mars where Mars or natural signification of weapon or my enemies...

Hi Yuriy,

The first thing that jumps out at me is how much fire there is in this chart. Moon, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn are either in Mars' domicile or exaltation. Sun, still in tight square with Moon, is a fiery sign. On top of all this, Moon is in the via cumbusta. This is a very "weaponry" chart it seems, perhaps saying that a deal will happen?

I agree that Mars' condition is important. It rules weapons and also the 8th, your business partner's possession. Now Mars is essentially dignified by house and a bit close to the 8th cusp - I wonder if you re-cast the chart in Regiomontanus system this would still be the case. Either way, while Mars' presence in the house of business (7th) or the business partner's money (8th) could be ominous in other charts, we're looking at a possible deal of a weapon.

Antony Louis in his book included a chart cast for the prospect of a stained glass (glass-burning) business. Some planets were in the via cumbusta. The business turned out to be a success. (Note that there were other factors in that chart such as Spica.) I can't say for sure it will work this way for a weapon, but this is a perspective.

Mercury and Mars have a close aspect and mutual reception, too. Lord 2 Venus however won't get to perfect her aspect with Mars in the current sign.

I just don't quite fancy how weak Lord 7 Jupiter is looking (the potential seller). But Venus a benefic rules your 2nd and is strong in the 10th, together with Lord 1 Mercury. Most planets are in good houses. 4 out of 7 planets including Lord 1 are essentially dignified at least somewhat.

Overall, I don't think the chart says it is such an awful idea to get a weapon. And you will if you want it. Just be cautious about who you do business with, perhaps?

AmeliaS, than you for profound analysis.
There are two different things regarding weapon possession in my state.
To buy a rifle or shotgun and keep it at home for self-defense is possible without license, but possessing pistol needs some licensing and very difficult to get CCW, permit for concealed carrying weapon outside, in transportation or etc.
But, rules are tightening, some possible law adaptation looming regarding restriction even for keeping rifles at home. That's what bothering me, looks like I have to buy now something for at least be able to protect home in nearest future, especially if Trump lose election.
Also you probably right about weakness of potential seller because of high demands now and limited quantities at stocks of some models.

Starcraft, I don't want to show entire chart but I have Mars in 10th and had some perspectives in military career when was young. Later I've decided to get back to my architectural profession, which is natural with my Libra AC, Taurus Sun, strong Venus and Saturn. Still, My Moon in Aries at DC in trine with Mars.
I could be short-fused from time to time.
What I'm worry is that Mars ruling my 2nd in Scorpio and been told at other forum that 2nd house considered in regards to killing other people (opposite to 8th, own death) and Mars being elevated in 10th. Though, no connection to 12th and 1st, lest likely to be convicted.

I wonder if this is similar to real estate questions where the matter conjunct the 10th shows the price is high. The 2nd lord of personal posessions is conjunct the 10th house (although I agree Mars lords the item). This would suggest you will pay a heavier price for protection and may want to shop around better to not be taken advantage.

To me I think you are personally having an internal struggle over the issue and would lean more towards not moving forward, despite looking seriously at doing so (since the 1st lord is angular). This can be seen by the 1st lord opp the 7th and the 7th lord retro, showing a reversal, as well as Mercury applying to square Mars as a natural lord of fire arms. The Moon is likewise square Sun. Moon is next applying to oppose Uranus and it could take some sort of personal shock for you to decide to move forward with a purchase because right now you are struggling too much with personal feelings about owning a dangerous weapon and having to use it. It could be that a particular firearm you were looking at will already be taken and that might be the 7th lord opp the 1st and retro but the fact that so many sigs are in hard aspect suggests a lot of internal struggle and going back and forth on the matter. My advice would be to research the idea more and learn more about the safety practices of owning a firearm and how to use it properly, such as keeping them in locked containers away from children. This might help with fears in owning one or misusing it, since you do appear interested.

This is very interesting point of view and analysis.
The situation in progress is that I've ordered today that particular carbine model at gun store and the waiting time is around 2 months because all was sold out for now. But I was told I'm first in new list.
Young salesman in the store could talk Russian (apparently son of some emigrant) and introduced me also used old Russian carbine issued in 1939 with bayonet. When I was holding it with attached bayonet I've realized I would never stabbed someone in the fight...
That modern model I've ordered looks much more "people-friendly" :-? ...

Hello Yuriy,
Moon day in 2nd House (movable item) - Hour of Mars in 7th (transaction)
MercuryL1 squaring Mars own sign conjunct 8th - The transaction favors more the seller.
Moon in 2nd in Fall, Via Combusta, peregrine, Fixed, in Detriment of VenusL2 shows the arm will most likely be useless and stay locked in your cabinet.
Adding the square between Mars (natural for rifle) in Detriment of VenusL2 and MercuryL1 in Fall of Mars showing a lack of interest or practice to become really comfortable with the rifle.

Your Asc is also in the Fall of Venus,
MercuryL1 in Triplicity of Venus and VenusL2 ruled by Mercury. You will buy it and get attached to your arm.

MercuryL1 square Mars translating to Jupiter in Capricorn in 4th shows also the restrictions if you ever want to carry it outside your home.

I lived in the States a long time ago and I can understand your desire to protect yourself. It's in the air and the culture of Americans. The stats give "120.5 firearms for every 100 residents." You are not alone!

Best wishes,
Ouranos
Blessings!

Hi Ouranos.
At first glance i was looking at horary, Venus elevated at MC and ruling AC triplicity and also exalted at Pisces DC. That Venus gave me idea of some eventual peaceful solution...
So, your detailed analysis basically states the same.

Yes, Second Amendment says you have rights do not retreat at your home and protect it with all lethal forces. That's the last stand against socialism in this country and preventing population from becoming slaves of the government as it was in Soviet Union and now in China and partially in Russia.

I've bought a rifle, "accidentally" one of that model was on display today, someone ordered but changed mind. You're right, price was slightly higher because equipped with some optics. Otherwise I had to wait around 2 month in the line without even guaranteed result because of high demands for certain models, people like crazy now, lines to gun shops...
