I said Id try and do something for the Aintree Festival, for some light entertainment and it may be of interest for anyone watching the races.
Ill just cover the televised races. There are various methods which Ive listed; hopefully these can be compared in some way as the results become known (!)
Some of the methods move a house cusp or MC forward by primary motion, some just involve the closest aspect irrespective of applying or separating. It is a matter of individual preference as to what planets and aspects are used.
Some methods Ive not included, for example Sepharial and also looking at the dispositor of the dispositor (see Bonatti, Treatise 7, page 654).
Al-Kindi is left in and Ive added the second part of his commentary. The second part is framed around what would have occurred in the ninth century. I have some initial thoughts as to how these translate today but I provide a basic original description.
I also include the Ascending Degree based on trainers and jockeys. Ill comment some more on this in the Cheltenham thread. |

Thanks Hera,
I list the various methods with suggestions in the hope that one may resonate with the people who read this thread. Possibly some techniques will be seen to be more popular than others.
I understand today I found short odds winners and high odds placed horses.

Hi John
Interestingly, jockey Barry Geraghty who won today's 2:20, 3:25 with both fav horses will be riding four races tomo, including another 3:25 Uxizandre . Would be fun to follow. |
