The intertwining orbits of Haumea and Makemake

1
This is related to an observation of the conjunctions of these two plutoids made under s different heading, "The Plutoid Sedna and the Near Future of US Corporations"

In 1501 the distance between Haumea and Makemake was 11 degrees; the two were in Sagittarius with Haumea at 12 degrees and Makemake at 23.This distance was never exceeded from 1501 through 1785, at which time both plutoids had traveled though the zodiac and returned to Sagittarius. By then Makemake was in 6 degrees and Haumea in 17.
In 1505 the difference was 10 degrees. During the 65 years from 1510 to 1575 it varied between 7 and 9 degrees, while from 1575 to 1610 it varied between 6 and 0 degrees, dropping from 6 to 0 and then increasing back to 6. From 1610 to 1650 it varied between 8 and 9 degrees; it was 7 degrees in 1650, 6 in 1655 and 1660, and then varied between 4 and 0 for the hundred years between 1665 and 1765, dropping to 0 twice, between about 1685 and 1690 and then again around 1745. It was 5 degrees in 1765, 6 in 1770, 7 in 1775' 8 in 1780 and back to 11 in 1785.
These 254 years, covering most of the sixteenth, all of the seventeenth. and a good part of the eighteenth century were very important ones. They included a lot of overseas exploration and conquest and were very hard on indigenous peoples. There was some blending of art and science and hopefully of men's and women's worldvews. In spite of Haumea, there seems to have been a high rate of infant mortality and of women dying in childbirth.
