How much is Saturn easing Uranus's descent into 2019?

Bob Marks says Uranus transiting Taurus will be ALL good. I'm NOT!!

I feel people don't watch the ingresses enough. Pluto, Neptune, Uranus and Saturn changing signs have massive mood changing effects. I'm full expecting the late 2018 move by Uranus into Taurus to send lots of people running for their comfort blankets. Bob doesn't think so. What do others feel?

Erratic and Unpredictable meets the Risk Off zone ?

"Uranus in Taurus: Here, the planet of sudden and unexpected change is in the sign that is slow to get started but difficult to stop." Evangeline Adams wrote that when Uranus is in Taurus, its "great energy is set to honest, constructive work" and I would have to agree.

"The erratic nature of Uranus is curbed here and the force of the planet does seem to concentrate in practical, material matters where its originality can have a great effect."

Did I write that ? Well Saturn will add stability this year anyway.

Thanks for the comment. I feel that for example when Pluto ingresses we get massive change in harmonies, mostly bad. I can't see how Uranus which is happily rushing around in Aries won't be pretty unhappy in Taurus. I'll think more about what people way. I think the low iodine levels in our food may suddenly case thyroid problems. We've had head and artery problems in Aries. Throat and thyroid in Taurus. Is it it rocket science? H

I'm sure your right about that Rocko and its something I have been meaning to do more research on. I should have more time next year to really get into this topic and the longer terms planetary cycles.

I cant help feeling there might be some unconscious American cultural prejudice in judging Uranus in Taurus as relatively 'tame''.

Of course it is a fixed sign ruled by the lesser benefic Venus.

For quite understandable reasons American astrologers are much more concerned about the ingress of Uranus into Gemini. There is a long established link between Uranus in Gemini and previous major wars involving the US. In particular the Revolution, the Civil war and WWII. For example Uranus entered Gemini in August 1941 just a few months before the country was thrown into war with Japan that December with the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour. If the cycle repeats itself a third time the USA will be involved in another major war after Uranus enters Gemini in 2025. This will also coincide with the ingress of Saturn to Cancer opposing the US Sun in the 1776 chart. An ominous thought....

Many astrologers link these connections to their chosen version of the 1776 chart. However, its intriguing that the founding of the first English speaking colony in North America at Jamestown, Virginia came just 7 months after Uranus had first ingressed Gemini in August 1606. Uranus re-entered Gemini just a fortnight after the settlers landed in Virginia. Another key event in Colonial American history was the Salem Witch trials in 1692 which coincided with Gemini in Uranus.

Anyway, to get back to my point its worth stating that for many parts of the world WWII began long before 1941.

All these events occurred with Uranus in Taurus in the last Uranus cycle:

1935-Nazi Germany introduces Anti-Semitic Nuremburg Laws
1935-Fascist Italy invades and annexes Abyssinia (modern Ethiopia)
1936-Outbreak of Spanish Civil War
1936-Nazi Germany Occupies Rhineland
1937-Hindenburg disaster
1937-Empire of Japan invades China (Sino-Japanese War)
1938-Nazi Germany annexes Austria in the so called ''Anschluss'
1938-Nazi 'Kristallnacht'. A pogrom against Jews throughout Nazi Germany and Austria on 9?10 November 1938, carried out by SA paramilitary forces and German civilians.
1938-Italian Fascist expansionsts began a process of colonizing coastal Libya with large numbers of Italian immigrants. From 1938-40, 110,000 Italians had settled in coastal Libya.
1939-The Molotov?Ribbentrop Pact, was a non-aggression pact signed between Nazi-Germany and Soviet Union. It gave covert approval for partition of Poland between two powers.
1939-Nazi Germany invades and occupies Poland. Soviet Union occupies eastern Poland as agreed in Molotov?Ribbentrop Pact.
1939-Outbreak of War II in Europe between Nazi Germany against France and Britain.
1939-Winter War. War between Soviet Union and Finland.
1940-France, Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark and Norway all invaded and occupied by Nazi Germany
1940-Britain fights on alone. RAF defeat Luftwaffe in Battle of Britain.
1940-Soviet Union occupies the three Baltic states (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) under the auspices of the Molotov?Ribbentrop Pact
1940-North African or Desert War. Conflict in North Africa begns in June between initially British and Commonwealth forces vs Axis forces (Italy and Germany)
1941-Nazi Germany invades and occupies Greece
1941-Fascist Italy occupies coastal Yugoslavia (modern Slovenia, Croatia and Montenegro)
1941-Nazi Germany invades Soviet Union (Uranus at 25 Taurus on fixed star Algol)

I wouldn't identify the last dramatic economic downturn (the Great depression) with Uranus in Taurus. The crash of 1929 and start of the great depression all occurred with Uranus in Aries.

Do you have a link to his actual comments Rocko?

All I can find is the following:
Uranus in Taurus: Here, the planet of sudden and unexpected change is in the sign that is slow to get started but difficult to stop. Evangeline Adams wrote that when Uranus is in Taurus, its "great energy is set to honest, constructive work" and I would have to agree.

Judging by how things played out in the last Uranus transit of Taurus I have to agree that the above view seems way too Pollyannaish for me.

Looking at some other Uranus in Taurus periods:

The Protestant Reformation

1517-The Protestant Reformation begins in Germany. Martin Luther (1483-1546) posts his 95 Theses on the door of Wittenburg Cathedral, in protest at the Catholic doctrine of indulgences and formally begins the Protestant Reformation.

1520
Luther publishes three monumental works, To the Christian Nobility of the German Nation, On the Babylonian Captivity of the Church, and On the Freedom of a Christian.

In The Christian Nobility of the German Nation, Luther outlined the doctrine of the Priesthood of all believers and denied the authority of the Pope to interpret, or confirm interpretation of the Bible.

1521 (Jan-May)
Diet of Worms

Luther appears at the Diet before Charles V, emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, to to answer charges of heresy. On refusing to recant, he is declared a heretic and formally excommunicated from the Catholic Church by Pope Leo X.

Frederick III, Elector of Saxony ensures that Luther is taken to the Wartburg Castle for his own safety.

The Spanish Conquer Aztec Empire.

The Spanish conquer the Aztec Empire 1519-21

Union of Crowns 1603-England +Scotland

On the death of Queen Elizabeth I her successor as monarch is James VI of Scotland. He then assumed role of King for both England & Wales, Ireland and Scotland. Scotland remained an independent country until Union with England in 1707.

I just thought I'd reactivate this thread now that Uranus is passing 27° Aries.

Wiser people have told me that at this point the planet becomes anxious to make it to its new Home.

I've long thought that as Uranus/ Technology leaves action orientated can-do Aries for comfort seeking Taurus we'll see a significant change in the use of Big Technology.

Hard to imagine I know but recently the EU has slapped some restrictions on Technology and in the last few days Face(less)book has come under scrutiny for potential misuse of data.

Others say that we are moving towards the Self-Drive Electric Cars. Well Cars definitely are many people's comfort zones, me too, and IT Controlled Electric Vehicles do sort of fit the Uranus in Taurus mantra.

Uranus moving into Taurus is Heap Big Medicine and could disrupt really a lot of things.

Uranus is closing on Saturn in a trine. Saturn is Mr Stable just now in Capricorn. To go retrograde late April.

We've talked about Cryptos being part of Uranus in Taurus. Blockchain too ?

Well r.Saturn may give those ideas more than the once over but in a trine that will be beneficial in the end.

Because don't forget Uranus retreats back into Aries in Nov, exactly after the Sept 5th near exact trine with Saturn.

Come 2019 Uranus moves into Taurus without Saturn's stabilisers. Let's hope that loads of work is done before Jan 2019 to stabilise what will be a turbulent time.

My feeling is that Trumpy may become a Lame Duck in November, just, and then he'll ONLY have executive orders to get his way.

And that might NOT be pretty. He'd be better just to step down before 2019.

The trine between, the soon to be retro Saturn, r.Saturn and Uranus is very important.

I think understanding this is fundamental and the sort of thing WD Gann would have researched.

Uranus moving into Taurus over the next 12 months is a big and shocking thing. The Ruler of an Air sign moving from Fired up Aries to stuck in the mud Taurus.

My question is will the final destination be any different with r.Saturn's guiding hand. Will Uranus be in a more +VE place come Sept 2018 ?

And I think no. I think what will be different is the journey and how smooth it will be.

For the Stock Markets this will be very important, and for many other areas in life, perhaps like BREXIT. And Trade Talks with China, and peace talks with the DRK.

Bring it on, but Uranus will still end up stuck in the mud in 2019.

The transit of Uranus through Taurus means that things and industries ruled by Taurus, such as manufacturing and the financial establishment, are about to get a shakeup or upset.

Taurus rules lenders and the banks and thus, the chartered banks will continue to computerize their industry, using robots and computers to displace human employees, for example. The reason to computerize is not to improve efficiency or service, but to make more money for the banks, and to squeeze every last penny out of us consumers?

The computerization of money and assets will be accelerated by Uranus's transit in Taurus, but this will not always be for the good or for the consumers benefit.

That said, banks are facing stiff competition from on line money lenders and the like, so there may well be layoffs by the traditional banks, I predict.

We must remember that Uranus is said to be exalted in Scorpion, so Uranus is in its fall, in Taurus, or weakened.

Loyalty is also a Taurus principle, but Uranus in Taurus challenges the whole idea or concept of loyalty as Uranus hates people, but loves ideals.

What this means that the people ruled by Uranus will also be unstabilized to some effect during the transit of Uranus in Taurus.

It should also be noted that people born with natal Sun in Taurus and or natal Taurus rising, are about to enter a period of surprises, the unexpected, and or sudden change.

Uranus has a quickening effect on your life, where you do not know what to expect, from one day to the next. The pace of life quickens, though, like the level of difficulty on the video game moving from slow to fast.

Uranus rules astrology, so for Taurus people already involved with astrology, this is your element, your day in the Sun.

Uranus in Taurus means that the conservative, establishment people, (including the astrological establishment?), are forced to somehow give up their "comfort zone" for something completely different.

However, it is true that Uranus does brings alienation and or seperation.

(We may see a changing of the guard in the astrology world. Certain leaders in that community may retire and or move on).

What you will also notice is an urge for personal freedom and or a lack of rules, among the Taureans, as Uranus brings a need for liberation and or excitement.

All of the fixed signs are going though this dilemma, actually. (Scorpio, Leo, and Aquarius, as well).

Therefore, for the fixed signs, relationships that you once thought were certain are no longer so and there will be sudden endings.

When Uranus last made its entry into Taurus, (1930's) there were important technological advances made in the dry goods industries, such as textiles, fabrics, and the like.

Things like nylon, took shape, and revolutionized the clothing business, for example. The sewing machine revolutionized the garment business.

The re-entry of Uranus in Taurus will see further changes in the fashion industry, such as the manufacturing of clothing, and other goods, through 3D printer technology.

Artificial intelligence will also continue to make advancements during this time, but I predict the real advancements in AI will come during Uranus's upcoming transit in Gemini, seven years from now.

This is when the robots ability to talk and think like humans will take shape, but the real danger is that they will be made smarter than us ? Steven Hawking and others warned us about that.

The transit of Saturn trine Uranus means that the time is right for certain inventions and new technology advances that are both practical and helpful, since Saturn and Uranus are travelling though the earth signs.

This transit can also suggest changes in the democratic voting process, such as electoral reform and how countries deal with electoral voting and balloting, in general, such as voting by proportional representation.

Last, but not least, the transit of Uranus in Taurus, conjoining Queen Elizabeth II's natal Sun at zero Taurus (and Prince Charles natal Moon at zero Taurus) has to be seen as more than just symbolic.

There has to be some surprising changes coming to the British monarchy, should there not?, with Uranus in Taurus, and Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn, in which the chart for England is also impacted.

The Earth signs, symbolically, represent the pillars of the community, the foundations, so when major planets transit there, the very foundations of our society come crumbling down, that is a fact!

Interesant ? Loads of predictions from The Sab Man.

I'd never have seen it but I think Nationalism will rise. I suppose when people's Comfort Zones are shaken up their natural human reaction is to look for scapegoats. To circle the wagons. To blame anybody but themselves.

Sab adds "Loyalty is also a Taurus principle, but Uranus in Taurus challenges the whole idea or concept of loyalty as Uranus hates people, but loves ideals."

So I suppose you ONLY need some Nutter to start spouting Nationalistic ideas to help the wagons circle further.

What slightly frightens me is just how quickly we've ganged up against Russia.

Does anybody know what actually happened ? Except the British Security Service have been made to look like complete fools.

Might we, mere Voters, be shown the evidence ?

I think the Saturn trine is very important and good luck. Can Uranus be guided down to land smoothly in Taurus. That'd certainly help.

That's already happened with the election of The Donald, Five Star and Brexit.
Taurus rules lenders and the banks
Banks are a 2nd house matter. Money is ruled by Mercury and bankers are Jupiter in nature.
It should also be noted that people born with natal Sun in Taurus and or natal Taurus rising, are about to enter a period of surprises, the unexpected, and or sudden change.
Doesn't that also apply to Aries people too?
Loyalty is also a Taurus principle, but Uranus in Taurus challenges the whole idea or concept of loyalty as Uranus hates people, but loves ideals.

Loyalty is very much a Sun and or Jupiter rulership. Possibly Saturn.
Uranus rules astrology, so for Taurus people already involved with astrology, this is your element, your day in the Sun.
No it doesn't. Uranus is not the ruler of astrology. It is shocking and cruel and rebellious in nature. A return to first principles might be a good idea at this time. Planets signify, signs describe and houses locate and empower.
(We may see a changing of the guard in the astrology world. Certain leaders in that community may retire and or move on).

The evidence of Russia allegedly involvement of the poisoning one of their own former agents, on British soil, has not been shown to the public, yet, Rocko, likely because the police investigation is still ongoing and the crown attorney's office doesn't want their prosecution to go south and or get spoiled by the media, since witnesses would then get scared off, due to the threat of reprisals by Putin's gang of thugs.

However, Prime Minister May assures us that the evidence is there and that Russia's involvement is irrefutable.

We will see, as they say.

Of course if it proves that Russian weren't the main players we can all have a good laugh.

I read that the Russian double agent had been training out Special Ops people in GRU tactics. If so I don't think you'd need an order from Putin to liquidate him.

My feelings are that we are going thru a real phase in Britain, back to the 1950s or 1960s, were The Establishment are treating the People like morons.

Boris Johnson's at it by trying to whip up anti-Putin feelings, so that he can be the big man to sort things out.

He's already ruined Britain with his BREXIT lies and now he wants a World War so that he can be Prime Minister.

We didn't vote for Brexit because BoJo wants to start a war, Rocko. Please pay attention.

We voted to leave the EU because is a dictatorial, anti-democratic, German dominated federation run by technocratic radical socialists from the 1960's and 1970's.
