Tetrabiblos translations by Schmidt: No Book II? 1 by Larxene Hello everyone, I was browsing Project Hindsight's old translations here. Then I realised there's no Book II Tetrabiblos. Does anyone know why Schmidt translated Book I, III and IV but not Book II? Thanks. Regards, Larxene Xenohart Interested in Hellenistic astrology? Visit my blog. 5 by Larxene Hello everyone, I got a response from Ellen Black the other day. She said Schmidt did not translate Book II because he prioritised the translation of the texts dealing with natal astrology. If I remember correctly, Book II was about mundane astrology. There we have it. Peace, Larxene Xenohart Interested in Hellenistic astrology? Visit my blog. The appearance changes, but the essence remains. Quote Sat Nov 22, 2014 11:54 am
