On his 24th birthday in November 1893, his Solar Arc progressed Ascendant was 9 degrees Libra, exactly squaring this natal Venus conjunction to Mars' antiscion. (I have noticed that anything really serious that happens possibly needs Solar Arcs from the chart angles as well as transits? Of course, we usually don't have an accurate birth time to test this hypothesis.).
