Mr Cats,

Two questions.

1 What is the rectified time you are using on May 14th, 1948?

2 On what major historical dates have you identified 'hits' to the angles (transits, primaries, secondaries etc) which you think verify the validity of this particular proposed time?

I ask about the angles only because there is not that much disagreement on the timing of Israel's Declaration of Independence. Its more a question of what bit of the ceremony we choose to put emphasis on i.e. beginning, middle or end. The time frame for the whole thing is only 4:00PM to 4:32PM

Without answers to the questions I have raised with you above your post seems to have negligible astrological value.

Thanks

Mark

I rectified the horoscope of Israel today as 16h4m7s local time.

The progressive aspect Sun conjunct MC occurs on 27 july 2014.

The progressive aspects and transits before mentioned are cancelled now.

The time 16h4m7s is based on the start 4 pm of the independence meeting 14 May 1948 and the playing of the national Anthem there after which lasted 4 minutes and the following start of the reading of the proclamation.

The start of the reading of the proclamation is according to me the birth of the state Israel.

Statement by Middle East Quartet, 20 May 2011
SG/2174
The following statement was issued by the Middle East Quartet ( United Nations, Russian Federation, United States, European Union):
The Members of the Quartet are in full agreement about the urgent need to resolve the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians. To that effect, the Quartet expressed its strong support for the vision of Israeli-Palestinian peace outlined by [United States] President Barack Obama on 19 May, 2011. The Quartet agrees that moving forward on the basis of territory and security provides a foundation for Israelis and Palestinians to reach a final resolution of the conflict through serious and substantive negotiations and mutual agreement on all core issues.
The Quartet reiterates its strong appeal to the parties to overcome the current obstacles and resume direct bilateral negotiations without delay or preconditions. The Quartet further recommits itself to its previous statements and principles.

Horoscope Israel 16h4m7s local time = after playing national anthem; than after Ben Gurion read the independence speech.

Some examples of progressive aspects and transits.

1967: Israel launches attack on Egypt
Israeli forces have launched a pre-emptive attack on Egypt and destroyed nearly 400 Egypt-based military aircraft.
Fighting broke out on the Israel-Egypt border but then quickly spread to involve other neighbouring Arab states with ground and air troops becoming embroiled in battle.
Israeli Prime Minister Levi Eshkol said in a statement that the Egyptian Air Force had taken a great beating and Jordanian and Syrian air forces had been largely destroyed.
The attack follows a build-up of Arab military forces along the Israeli border.
The Arab states had been preparing to go to war against Israel with Egypt, Jordan and Syria being aided by Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Algeria.
On 27 May the President of Egypt, Abdel Nasser, declared: "Our basic objective will be the destruction of Israel. The Arab people want to fight."
Egypt signed a pact with Jordan at the end of May declaring an attack on one was an attack on both. This was seen by Israel as a clear sign of preparation for all-out war.
Fleeing
Israel took decisive action today claiming the element of surprise was the only way it could stand any chance of defending itself against the increasing threat from neighbouring states.
Israeli troops claim to have captured the key town of El Arish in north Sinai and are now advancing towards Abu Gela.
Hundreds of thousands of Arabs are said to be fleeing the crossfire in Jordan's West Bank.
So far the US state department has announced, "Our position is neutral in thought, word and deed." This follows its recent stance declaring Israel would not be alone unless it decided to go it alone.
The path for war was cleared on 16 May when President Nasser ordered the withdrawal of the United Nations Emergency Forces from the Egyptian-Israeli border.

Horoscope Israel 16h4m7s local time.

An other example.

The Camp David Accords were signed by Egyptian President Anwar El Sadat and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin on 17 September 1978, following thirteen days of secret negotiations at Camp David.[1] The two framework agreements were signed at the White House, and were witnessed by United States President Jimmy Carter. The second of these frameworks (A Framework for the Conclusion of a Peace Treaty between Egypt and Israel) led directly to the 1979 Egypt-Israel Peace Treaty. Due to the agreement, Sadat and Begin received the shared 1978 Nobel Peace Prize. The first framework (A Framework for Peace in the Middle East), which dealt with the Palestinian territories, was written without participation of the Palestinians and had little impact and was condemned by the United Nations.
