16 by irisalbus Hello Andrew and everyone, I am trying understand only the orientation indicated in the chart. Is it right that the place where Jack was found is South-East from his home? And if it is so, trying to think backwards, which significator is "justified" by this direction? The Moon in the 12th house should mean more East-SouthEast, Venus on the MC South straight, Mars in the 6th West-NorthWest ? if this is right, I would suppose that the Moon was the main significator of the lost person. This could mean that not only the Moon was the general significator of the question but, as Johannes mentioned, being the person missing a neighbour of the Querent, the Lady of the 3rd house could be taken as his significator. (The Moon is also the exalted ruler of the Ascendant, anyway.) Or else, should the orientation be more refined and the conclusion be that the Ascendant ruler Venus on the MC meaning South + the general significator Moon in the 12th house meaning East-SouthEast = South-East, in the end? Confirming Lilly's opinion that a lost person is to be sought by the Ascendant ruler and the Moon? Iris Quote Sat Jan 18, 2014 2:06 pm
17 by Andrew Bevan Hello Aglaya, The querent is always represented by the ascendant. The questive, being the missing person, seeing that Mercury is in the degree of the Moon's fall, angular and on the 7th house, I took this to be his significator. The direction to be sought to find the missing person or fugative, here I started with the Moon. It never occurred to be that he had travelled to town, had a drink or two, and that it was on his way home again that his illness or tragic mishap occurred. Both Mercury and Moon are early in signs, Mercury has recently terned direct and in the degree of the Moon's fall in Scorpio could have indicated a dicth. Maybe also Mercury conjunct the cusp of the 7th shows the questive close to the place of his destination, to where he had travelled. Irisalbus, I find your association of the questive with the 3rd house quite interesting, but I am not sure that the querent and 'Jack' were neighbours in that sense. It was more the case of everyone knowing everyone and Jack being a person that used to pass by on a regular basis. Having taken this instance as a case study, maybe we can be of some more positive help on later occasion. http://www.astronor.com Quote Sat Jan 18, 2014 3:33 pm
