The final round in the Norwegian Elite division

1
The Norwegian Tippeliga (elite division) had their finishing round on Sunday with Str?msgodset from Drammen winning the championship.

On March 15. just ahead of the series start, I gave an interview for Radio Aalesund on the north-west coast of Norway. On basis of the chart of their newly appointed trainer Jan J?nsson I estimated that Aalesund should come forth in the table. But in the opening match on the following day I thought they would be beaten by Haugesund.

Aalesund won their opening match, so this did in fact go better than the astrologer had predicted, but with the series completed - Aalesund came fourth, beaten by Haugesund in third position.

The top four teams that are due to play in Europe next year are;
1. Str?msgodset
2. Rosenborg
3. Haugesund
4. Aalesund

PS. Having Aalesund's predicted fourth place as a peg, I found this useful throughout the season as I could anticipate future results as they wandered up and down the table.

The problem with the final round played on Sunday, November 10. was that all the games started at the same time 18.00 CET. I did bring in a winning on a combination of 3 games, but this was more done the the method of an equation;

Rosenborg are likely to win their game, but for Str?msgodset to gain the title they also have to win their final game against Haugesund. Aalesund have to win their game to be sure of the fourth position if Molde wins their game against Start. However, Molde might not succeed or have similar ambition, etc.

The Norwegian Cup final is to be played in Oslo on November 24. at 12.15 UTC between Rosenborg and Molde (Solskjaer's team)! :) Odds: 2,40 3,40 2,60
