yogini dasha and kaal chakra

1
dear learned astrologers

have been reading about yogini dasha system being one of the most precise dasha systems and kaal chakra very effective in determing timing of imp events..

have seen softwares reflecting both these dashas but don't know the application or how to know whats really going on with particular planet dashas in yogini or signs in kaal chakra

am a virgo ascendant and running mercury md and mars ad in the yogini dasha..mercury being the lord of the ascendant is placed in the second house with sun and mars is in the 8th house in aries..

I wonder what does this predict according to yogini dasha..

kaal chakra represents pisces mahadasha since 2004 till oct 2013..pisces is the 7th house and lord Jupiter is in the 5th house Capricorn..

learned astrologers any insight and help appreciated

Though Kalachakra Dasha is based on the zodiacal signs, the rulers are still the planets. For example, if you are in a Pisces Dashs, you are basically in Jupiter Dasha, and Jupiter is delineated in the customary fashion.

The thing with Kalachakra Dasha is this: the signs proceed in regular zodiacal order for only so long, and then they "leap" to a completely different sign. (The same is true of the Hellenistic Time Lord system known as the Releasing from Fortune and Spirit.)

It is the leaps which are important. When an antardasha "leaps" to a sign out of zodiacal sequence, powerful events take place. When a mahadasha makes such a leap, the effects and life changes are quite intense.

I don't know much about Yogini Dasha. But since they use 8 planets (Rahu but not Ketu), we acquire the equation 8 x 8 = 64. the total number of antardashas in a complete cycle. This is probably related to the worship of the 64 Yoginis propounded by the great Tantric yogi Matsyendra Nath.

In any case, both dasha systems, Yogini and Kalachakra, are Tantric in origin, as the authors of BPHS attribute both systems to "Parvati and Shiva discoursing on the mountain."
