It will be really hard from 57 runners to selct the winner. :???:
Using John Addey's system, 5th cusp first aspect Moon, Moon is ruler of 11 house (key words: groups, friends, peers, organizations, clubs) so I have 2 horse names which will fits: "Join together" or "What a friend". As colors better fits with "Join together" I pick "Join together" as winner .(In "What a friend" colors we have red that does not fit with Moon in Pi).

I think we are now down to 53 declared runners. Two days before the race it will be reduced to 40 runners (plus 4 reserves who will not run unless one of the 40 has to pull out through injury, etc.)

The race is run in the hour of Jupiter, with Jupiter in the 10th. The Moon in Pisces applied to conjunct Neptune. I am tempted by SeaBass who carries purple colours (Jupiter). The problem is that he has the top weight.

Yes we could look at some of the other major races. I think we should have a good idea of the runners for Thursday by Tuesday. The main races don't have too many runners, so it should be more manageable than the Grand National :)

The best source for the colours (and approximate odds, so you can see if it's a favourite or outsider) is the Racing Post website:
http://www.racingpost.com/horses2/cards ... ceTabs=sc_

There are a few difference from the site you posted, and the Racing Post is usually correct!

The race is on Saturday 6 April at 16.15 BST at Aintree racecourse 53N29, 2W57 with 10VI01 rising, MC 2GE56, Moon 1PI16 and the Campanus 5th cusp at 0CP44 with its next aspect a sextile to the Moon.

The Venus-Mars conjunction semi-square the MC is worth noting.
