| I just took a quick look – thanks so much! The paper on astrology and the soul especially addresses my current interests. I've become convinced that attention to ancient, medieval, and renaissance discussion of the soul is essential if a person is to practice an astrology that is useful, relevant, and meaningful. It's not too much of a stretch to say that when astrology experienced its little death in the 18th century an intellectual sophistication and ability to clearly navigate within such discussions died along with it. We were given an age of data before dreams. |

Thanks for everybody's comments so far. As I said there is plenty of material here to chew through. What I hope to bring to the table are worked out examples of the methods for well known personalities whose lives offer a rich canvas for study.
For those who want to go deeper, I might suggest looking at some similar horoscopes - didn't have time to write these up - but for instance:
Jimmy Carter - Truman Capote (born within 24 hours)
Charlie Chaplin - Adolph Hitler - Ludwig Wittgenstein (similar horoscopes)
Ted Kennedy - Bonnie Lee Bakely (similar horoscopes)
Will write more on these comparisons in the future but some might be interested in looking at these on your own.
Varuna2 - one comment on Jupiter's rulership of metals. Tin seems the more consistent assignment for metals. As for Jupiter to silver, keep in mind Jupiter rules Cancer by exaltation and that Cancer is the sign consistently assigned to silver by all western authors that I am aware of. _________________ Dr. H.
