The 78 minutes of Fabrice Muamba

Fabrice Muamba collapsed with a sudden attack of cardial arrest in the 41st minute of the FA Cup contest between Tottenham and Bolton on March 17. 2012. According to Bolton's club doctor, Jonathan Tobin, the 23 year old was in reality dead for 78 minutes until his heart started beating again.

The questions that many must be asking is what happened, why did hit happen and is there anything we can do to avoid such accidents occurring in the future? Fabrice Muambe is an example of an apparently healthy, sound young man - an athelete at his prime, and the cardial arrest was quite unportended.

If Fabrice was dead for 78 minutes, where did he go? Is there anything special going on at the chart of the moment? And does the chart of coming back to life bear any meaning? The charts are up for discussion.

This is a Solar Sunrise chart for Fabrice, but I like using them when the birthtime is unknown, particularly with celebrities. Mars is dispositor of both Sun and the 8th house. He is in the 30th degree (!) of Capricorn (falls) in the 10th house of public standing.

I am including this chart, since it is apt to show something about the events of the match. The match was abandoned after 45 minutes of play with the result 1-1. I think we all applaud the management for making this swift decision. The South Node of Fabrice Muamba is rising in the ascendant of the chart.

The cardial arrest occurs quite suddenly and unexpected at Sunset. The Sun is in the 28th degree of Pisces and also sqare the Midheaven. Mercury, lord of the ascendant, is retrograd in the 7th (representative of the battlefield?) applying to the conjunction of Uranus (irregularities). Mars in in the same sign as the ascendant but on the cusp of the 12th house and in the degree of the nodes.

According to Jonathan Tobin, 48 minutes past from when Fabrice collapsed on the ptich and until they got him to hospital. It took a further 30 minutes until the life signs began to appear. Fabrice's recovery after the heart stop has been termed by doctor's at London Chest Hospital as a miracle. It is interesting how Pluto moves in the north of the chart, passing the IC, but is involved in a Grand trine with Mars and Jupiter, the Preserver.
BBC: Dr Sam Mohiddin, the Consultant Cardiologist now looking after Muamba, said: "Fabrice has continued to demonstrate positive signs of recovery.

"His outcome has been extraordinary as a result of extraordinary care.

"He has exceeded our expectations but this remains very early in what could be a very lengthy recovery period.

"The critical thing was the rapid, prompt and very effective CPR at White Hart Lane and expertise from the London ambulance service.

"Normal life is within the spectrum of possibility."
