I request some one to help me

I have the sidereal time 9hrs 12 mins 44 secs at latitude 22'38" . [corrigendum]

The ascendant is 6s(libra) 20'47" - If you refer to Lahiri ascendant table.

So how i can find the ascendant without using lahiri ascendant table?Does anyone is aware of any kind of mathematical formula.

Hello Pranab,

The Ascendant is a measurement connected to the rotation of the earth. This means that you first need to calculate it from the vernal equinox. The vernal equinox is the crossing or connection point of the plane of rotation (the celestial equator) with the zodiacal plane.
There is no other way than to calculate through the vernal equinox, which brings you to the tropical zodiac. Only then you can add the ayanamsa to arrive at the sidereal zodiac.
