Premier League
Aston Villa - QPR, 19.45 GMT
Odds: 1,80 3,40 4,75
Asc 13VI10 MC 7GE36 MO 0GE15 POF 1CP04
Day Mercury, Hour Mercury - radical by sign
Mercury, Lord of the ascendant and the hour, trines the MC and would seem to be a testimony for the home team and favourite, but Mercury is combust and the Sun is in his detriment.
There is a game in the Championship between Leicester and Middlesbrough starting at the same time. _________________ http://www.astronor.com

Villa - QPR 2-2
Radicality isn't enough to win. In the hierachy of testimonies it could come 2nd to other more exact aspects within the chart. But then Mercury, Lord of the 1st and the hour, was trine the MC. The combustion by the detrimented Sun must have been a hazard.
Leicester - Middlesbrough, also ended 2-2. It is interesting that the games provided the same result, but it needs to be explained. _________________ http://www.astronor.com |

| Of the four Premier League matches starting at 20:00, two were drawn: those at Fulham, and at Bolton. The 15 minute time difference with the Villa match makes very little difference to the chart, and Mercury is still Lord of the Hour. These three charts might repay study in helping to identify draws. |

I do agree with you GB! Although there weren't the traditional testimonies of the draw, even though radicality often seems to save the favourite from total disgrace. I will admit to having modified my initial entry on the game where I favoured Villa. We have to learn not only how to make predictions, but how to gather observations in an orderly manner.
There are a few interesting games on Thursday:
In the Premiership
Aresenal - Blackburn, 13.00 GMT
Odds: 1,30 5,00 11,00
Asc 0CN58 MC 25AQ45 Moon 21GE07 POF 7SC59
Day Jupiter, hour Jupiter - radical by exaltation
Jupiter is in the exaltation degree of the Moon at 3TA.
I feel like suggesting a 3 goal win to Arsenal. That is priced at 8,25:1, but the safer bet would be a 0-1 handicap at the price of 1,84:1.
It's up for observation, anyhow, and we will see what can be learnt. _________________ http://www.astronor.com |

I have been following one of the guys who does the odds for one of Norways leading newspapers. He is absolutely lousy. I can't remember when he last won any money. Could we try to come up with one prediction or combination a week that was worth 5:1 or more? I find myself including all sorts of stuff for the exercise, but how do we get track of how we are getting on and whether we are making progress? _________________ http://www.astronor.com |

ManC - Fullham, 17.20 GMT
Odds: 1,30 5,25 11,00
Asc 22LE05 MC 6TA53 Moon 6CN02 POF 12CP43
Day Saturn, Hour Mercury - radical
The Sun, L1, is in the same sign as Mercury, LHr, so there seems no need to expect any underdog suprizes here. The favorite home team should get it, but the significators are cadent. I am not sure what to expect on that, except that things may seem far fetched or the result is placed somewhere in the deep. The Moon is sextile the MC, which also is a testimony for the favourite.
A combination can be played on these two games that will help build up the total odds. _________________ http://www.astronor.com |

Arsenal win 7-1 and ManC take a 3-0 victory!! Free money!!
But the 7-1 scoreline in the Gunners game would be impossible to predict. Jupiter was particularly strong. Absolutely mind-blowing!! _________________ http://www.astronor.com

Starting with Sunday's games
Newcastle - AstonVilla, 13.30 GMT
Odds: 2,10 3,30 3,65
Asc 12CN02 MC 4PI08 Moon 16CN48 POF 12SG41
Day Sun, Hour Sun - not radical
The chart is not radical and the Sun, LHr, is receiving the application of Mercury, L4, although not exact. There are joined by sign. The temptation is to move the result away form the home favourite. The question is how far. Chiron is on the MC, putting things in no mans land. The game is open. I feel that a draw is a good starting point.
Chelsea - ManU, 16.00 GMT
Odds: 2,65 3,30 2,70
Asc 7LE23 MC 16AR20 Moon 18CN10 POF 9CP17
Day Sun, Hour Moon/Saturn - not radical
The Sun, L1, is in the 7th in sextile to the MC. We had an example of this last week. This chart should be reveiwed before casting judgement. _________________ http://www.astronor.com |

First of all, something on my mind regarding the question of radicality: The Question of Radicality is all about quality and tuning. There are several ways of looking at what this has to offer, but in football games our notion is from the start that radicality protects quality. We have been working under the notion that different types of radicality may offer different contracts or solutions to the outfall of the contest, where one of these - radicailty proven by triplicity, does seem to occur with a higher frequency of draws. But we are still working on it.
The Lord of the planetary hour in the same sign as a significator does tend to give advantage and the upper hand to that significator, whether it represents one of the teams, or maybe the 10th or the 4th house.
The lack of radicality tends to move the result way from quality, and this may open up the way for the underdog, if nothing else is going on in the chart. Yet, the football is round and unpredictable by the nature of the game, still it is our opinion that astrology can disclose a measure of tendencies that may help us form an educated opionin on the outfall of the match.
Now back to the Chelsea/ManU game, this is obviously a very open contest will both teams ambitious to secure 3 points. On the background of current form I would give ManU the upper hand, although I notice Chelsea are slightly favourites by odds since ManU have the disadvantage of playing away. The chat is NOT RADICAL, yet quality is shown in the chart by the Moon in Cancer in the 1st house. This could be particularly good for Chelsea, who are playing at home, and where Cancer and the Moon are their natural significators.
As the chart shows, the planetary hour is on the turn (according to my Regiomontanus approach) and if this catches the guards on the bridge, this is one of the indications that have seemed to be useful in picking out the draws.
I would be cautious in making a predition on this game. I think ManU are the better team, but the chart is not radical, yet quality and advantage is with Chelsea. The draw is an obvious compromise and with the guards on the bridge I would say that the game is absolutely open and am going for a draw.
Go for a draw in both matches and get one of them right and still make a profit, or go for the double at the odds of 10,9:1? _________________ http://www.astronor.com |

LI is on a positive degree symbolised as stimulating growth from humble beginnings, maybe this description fits Newcastle who are unexpectedly trying to climb into the top 6. Angular L1 and POF conj NN give more traditional indications towards Newcastle.
3-1 to Newcastle. _________________ Mad Daz's Place, quiet but never boring

Well done on noting the winning testimony in the Newcastle-Aston Villa game, Daz. Although the scoreline was 2-1. However, both teams scored and you sure came close!
3-3 between Chelsea and ManU was surely terrific in an exciting game. Chelsea were 3 goals ahead before ManU came back in the 2nd half. The prediction of the draw was perfectly true! _________________ http://www.astronor.com |

Monday, February 6.
Liverpool - Spurs, 20.00 GMT
Odds: 2,05 3,35 3,75
Asc 18VI34 MC 14GE41 Moon 3LE43 POF 4PI50
Day Moon, Hour Moon - radical by triplicity
Well, radical by triplicity hints a draw. There doesn't appear to be a lot going for Liverpool in this chart. Mercury, L1+L10, is utterly distroyed by the Sun before entering cazimi - but no advantage here. If anything then Jupiter, L7, of the guests is square the Moon, LHr, and sextile POF in Pisces. That makes Jupiter the dispositor of POF. Jupiter is in the exaltation degree of the Moon and in reception with Venus who is close the degree of her exaltation in the 7th.
The chart suggests that Tottenham do not travel home empty handed. I am not certain how far to push it. If the prediction fails and Liverpool victor, my question would be whether the Sun offered fortune to Mercury as the dispositor of the Moon, who is Lady of the hour. However, the chart offers some preference to the guests.
If radicality deals with quality, there is quality on both sides of the pitch in this instance. Spurs is hardly an underdog, so either way - quality prevails. What I mean is that is Spurs was a 'real' underdog, then radicality may save the favourite. _________________ http://www.astronor.com |

Jupiters degree is an interesting one ..'a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow'...maybe L7 Spurs have got their eye on the goal of a Euro Champions league place...well its worth its stab I guess or am I wondering into the grounds of fancy.
As well as a preference for L7 over L1..likewise goes to 7th house with VE/UR/POF..
2-1 to Spurs. _________________ Mad Daz's Place, quiet but never boring

Well, it's 0-0 and a draw!
Radicality by triplicity strikes again!
Naturally, the chart has to be balanced and judged as a whole, but Spurs did not travel home empty handed. Quality teams were on both sides of the pitch. 'Quality' was secured, but I don't think the game was all that entertaining... _________________ http://www.astronor.com |

In the FA cup, Wednesday;
Middlesbrough - Sunderland, 19.45 GMT
Odds: 3,75 3,30 1,95
Asc 18VI44 MC 14GE39 Moon 1VI18 POF 0AR34
Day Mercury, Hour Mercury - radical by sign/exaltation
First, I am a little bit sceptical to these 19.45 GMT games, because there are generally too many of them and seem to be too heavily coloured as a fixture. However, this is a one-off, so let's try it. The chart is radical, but Mercury is destroyed by the detriment Sun. Mercury is L1, so I think this crosses it out for Middlesbrough. The Moon is applying trine to Jupiter, L7, but a little off orb and I think the telling factor is POF conj Venus at 0AR41 in the 7th. Sunderland are the 7th house guests, favourite by odds, and that is who I think will advance to the next round.
There are similarities here with the Villa -QPR game played last week (top of page), but the difference is POF conjunct a fortune (the favourite) - conveniently in the 7th. _________________ http://www.astronor.com |
