With Lord of the Hour Moon also ruler of ascendant and in 10th with Fortuna we have to give this to the slight favourites Man Utd.

Neither ruler convinces, Moon opp POF and L1 Sun disp JU in 10th could tip the balance in Chelsea's favour.
A win to Chelsea - but only just! _________________ Mad Daz's Place, quiet but never boring

Man Utd won 1-0 and Chelsea won 2-1 with a late penalty in the 83rd min from Lampard. So another two matches are correctly predicted this season.
Lampard bursts City bubble to throw title race open. _________________ Mad Daz's Place, quiet but never boring

| Daz, you seem to have the wrong chart for the Chelsea v Man City match. The chart is set for 1:45 am, not 20:00 (look at the house position of the Sun). |

Very even but Liverpool are given as slight favourites due to their good record at Villa. ASC ruler VE in 10th applying to POF dispositor JU. L7 ruler MA below the horizon and in an unpredictable degree 17 VI 'An Eruption'..anger at a perceived injustice?
MO/PL can indicate a draw but the chart is balanced more to Liverpool.
2-1 to Liverpool? _________________ Mad Daz's Place, quiet but never boring

ASC ruler MO besieged by MA/SA..MO applying PL 7th.
In the past besieged favourites rarely do well so this is bad news for Man City.
MO/PL indicates a draw or even a victory for underdogs Arsenal.

Only one home win in Saturday's Premiership games made the 6 games increadible valuable collecting 899:1 in odds.
Wigan - Chelsea 1:1 - 9.33 4.73 1.34
Newcastle - Swansea 0:0 - 1.75 3.53 4.77
Fulham - Bolton 2:0 - 1.61 3.72 5.74
Everton - Norwich 1:1 - 1.52 3.99 6.50
Blackburn - West Brom 1:2 - 2.39 3.30 2.91
Wolves - Stoke 1:2 - 2.47 3.23 2.85
I haven't had time to check the astrology, but the situation was similar in League One. Could it have anything to do with the mutual reception and tight aspect between Venus and Saturn? _________________ http://www.astronor.com |

Bah humbug! there goes my clean sheet for the season, at least Liverpool came through 2-0 though. If I recall correctly the besiegement that plagued the World Cup predictions was far tighter and played havoc resulting in some unlikely victories for the underdogs. Not so this time...back to the drawing board re. besiegment. All things considered though its been a good 2011 for football predictions.

I am sorry, Daz. If your stats as so good, they are impressive at any rate.
Just noticed, in reading Daz's entry. All the odds in the above example, except the one game between Fulham and Bolton, were 2nd favourites. This could be important if the chart indicated that the result was moved away from the favourite.
-------------------------------------
All the favourites won their games on Sunday. Astrologically, one would expect a quality difference on Saturday, the day of Saturn, to Sunday, the day of the Sun. _________________ http://www.astronor.com |

Tuesday, Dec. 20
Wolves - Norwich, 19.45 GMT
Odds: 2,20 3,30 3,30
I favour a draw in this game, even though Wolves are a good home team and know when to make their effort to capture points. I am using planetary hours according to Regio house system, but this puts the Sun on the cusp to the next hour and the guards might just get caught on the bridge.
Blackburn - Bolton, 20.00 GMT
Odds: 2,15 3,25 3,45
Two teams at the bottom of the table, but the Sun is Lord of the hour, rules the ascendant and is in a perfect trine to the MC. So my educated guess would be a home win.
The two games attract a total odds of 7,10:1
Wolves have the ability to score goals, so if there is a draw up ahead maybe 1-1 at the price of 6,50:1 is a good guess, but according to Unibet this is the score that attracts the lowest price. Bolton are likely to put up a fierce game against Blackburn, also shown by the exalted Saturn L7 so close to the IC. A goal to the guests is possible, Blackburn will have to score several to capture all the points - so how about a 2-1 victory at the price of 9,00:1. The combination has a value of 58,5:1. _________________ http://www.astronor.com |

L7 SA for both Norwich and Bolton looks v.strong so I'd expect the two underdogs to play better than expected tonight either drawing or maybe even winning.
L1 Sun is also strong for the home favourites as Andrew says with close trine MC but I just wonder if SA angularity thwarts them.
Of course I'd be a lot happier picking the favourites but I'll risk my neck. _________________ Mad Daz's Place, quiet but never boring

Well done Daz
Andrew, I'm interested in your correct prediction of a draw for Wolves v Norwich. Could you provide a bit more detail on your reasoning please. I find draws the most difficult result to predict and would value your thoughts. I spent a long time thinking about it and eventually got it wrong |

Wolves - Norwich 2-2
Blackburn - Bolton 1-2
Thanks GB. My hopes of picking a scoreline or maybe even a combination were avail - however, not too bad all the same. Interesting prediction, Daz. Saturn WAS strong, however, the chart was radical and the Sun more exactly in aspect with the MC - sent me the wrong way in the game between Blackburn and Bolton.
Regarding the draw, GB, we seem to observe that it may be called when either the Lord of the hour rules the ascendant by triplicity or is in the same triplicity as the Lord of the ascendant - becasue the triplicity tends to share things round. However, if the lord of the ascendant is in the same sign as the lord of the hour, this would tend to favour the team represented by the ascendant, mostly the home team.
The thumb rule I was appying, however, was that when the planetary hour is on the turn, it is like a changing of offices or changing of guards - as it were. Just as the hours are changing then the guards may be caught just as the shift occurs. The guards get 'caught on the bridge' and this seems to coincide with draws.
However, you might find might approach controversial, because I let the set of planetary hours follow my house system, so the change of hours is either when the Sun is on the cusp of a house (of which there are twelve) or at the intercection point in the middle, which does follow an unequal number of degrees according to size and growth/contraction of the houses.
The reason I choose to do this is becasue then I can instantly read the planetary hour out of any chart by knowing the day of the week. I also believe that hours and houses should be of the one and same system of division. _________________ http://www.astronor.com |
