The is one-off in the conference league this evening;
Stockport County - Luton, 19.45 BST
Odds: 3,40 3,35 2,00
Asc 6PI13 MC 21SG24 Sun 9VI58 Moon 14SC29 POF 10TA44
Day Venus, Hour Jupiter - radical by rulership of the ascendant.
Actually, both the Lady of the Day and Lord of the Hour have dignities in the ascendant. Jupiter also rules the Midheaven, and is conjunct POF. There is always the question of who the asc represents, but the chart radical and POF conjunct the Lord of the hour, Jupiter, who is a benefic - should there be any doubt about the favourite getting it, even if Luton are playing away?
The Moon applies to the opposition of Jupiter, which is rather interesting. _________________ http://www.astronor.com |

Stockport - Luton 1-1
Now, I have difficulty in understanding how anything I came up with could have been useful. Luton took the lead in the 5th minute with a goal scored by a player with the name of Alex Lawless. Then Stockport equalized in the final minute, probably in overtime, with a goal by Sean McConville.
All I have is questions, but they could be important. Is there a mixture of testimonies here? POF represents the favourite, but Jupiter is the home team? And the opposition of the Moon, although wide, does it bear any significance? Last, there is a question regarding matches that are decided in extended play. Either way, there are a considerable number of variables. _________________ http://www.astronor.com |

The last minute goals seem to be a recurring theme in this forum as I remember.
I'm sure someone has talked about this but maybe it makes sense to focus on over/under (usually 2.5 goals) aspect of the game. I mean, no testimony = teams will not probably score more than 1 goal, or more than 2. A number of testimonies = a lot of goals.
Then nobody has to worry about who wins. Can anyone tell me does # of testimonies = (roughly) # of goals work? |

Jupiter is not exactly conjunct PoF. They are in the same degree but PoF is 18' away and since Jupiter is Rx, they are kind of separated.
Moon is in close aspect with Venus who rules the sign intercepted in the DSC. That is one hey for the doggies. And Sun in close aspect with PoF is one hey for the faves.
I know, it is a lot easier to analyze the match after it takes place. But Moon in close aspect with Venus was certainly worth consideration. |

We present the chart and match details first, then discuss the odds. Afterwards we carefully analyse what actually happened and what seemed to have greatest influence. Thank you for contriburting with your insight! It all helps in working it out, or else we are stumped! _________________ http://www.astronor.com |

With nothing much else going on, I am still brooding over the Stockport - Luton draw. I still think Jupiter conjunct POF was the closest testimony in the chart and as a fortune, is an indication for the favourite. Also since Jupiter is Lord of hour. Then all Jupiter's other significations mixes it all up. When the Lord of the hour rules the ascendant it is foremost a sign of protection. But which team receives preferment or protection? Either the home team or the favourite, who are the guests, are saved from loosing? In my opinion the draw was the least satisfactory result. I would have to conclude that the problem could not be resolved. The game is fetched from a lower league. It is a singleton, yet the the real focus was on on the qualifying rounds to the European Championship. _________________ http://www.astronor.com |

Andrew may well have a point about the game being from a lower league, and all the focus being on the qualifying rounds to the European Championship. The game was not important enough to 'focus' the astrology.
On a different point - I have been looking at the chart every way I can to see if there is any indication for a draw. The only thing I have noticed that has not been mentioned is that L1 and L7 are in parallel. It probably does not mean anything, but has anybody looked at parallels and contra-parallels in relation to results?

There is an important game being played on Tuesday in the qualifying rounds to the European Championships in Football:
Denmark - Norway, 20.15 CEST Copenhagen
Odds: 1,90 3,40 4,00
Asc 5AR25 MC 1CP40 Sun 13VI49 Moon 8CP52 POF 028
Day Mars, Hour Saturn - not radical
The chart not radical; Saturn, Lhr, is L10 and located in the 7th house of the guests who are the underdogs by odds. POF is inconjunct the Midheaven. What an opportunity for the Norwegians who are almost certain to advance from their group together with Portugal, if they can win in Copenhagen.
This 4:1 bet could be the best risk/reward bet in Tuesday's round of the European Qualifying games. _________________ http://www.astronor.com |

More on the Denmark - Norway game;
It could be a disadvantage that both Mars, L1, and Venus, L2, are in the signs of their fall and below the horizon. This could weaken both teams. But the lack of radicality and the Lord of the hour being Lord of the 10th and located in the 7th - does still seem like a testimony for the guests. _________________ http://www.astronor.com |

I dunno I'm kinda leaning towards the favorite or a low-score draw. Not a very radical chart in terms of readability.
Hope you're right, though, well, mostly because Norway is your country. |

The best tip would be "Do Not Bank on Denmark!" Don't you agree? _________________ http://www.astronor.com |

What about it? You don't have to be an astrologer to tell Latvia are not going to win. No offense, but our team have no offense. A little pun there.
Latvia won against Georgia but we got lucky there - the goal was scored from a free kick and their GK made a horrifying mistake. Probably because he was cold all night. Georgia, on the other hand, hit all the posts and crossbars available but no luck.
There's a golden rule in football - whichever team hits the post first, loses.
In the chart, Moon makes a trifle aspect (3°) with the PoF. I think that is going to be enough for Greece to win. Latvia will not be looking to score they will be praying for a draw but I don't suppose they will get lucky two times in a row. |

Yes, I would.
If you think Norway is going to win, or there's a great value in backing them, you should make a "Will I profit betting on Norway?' horary. I usually do that but in this case I don't really have an interest in this game. Besides the event chart, of course. |
