I don't think it is the astrology that is the problem in cases like this but the projection of the astrologer. As of this writing none of us (save the participants) knows for certain everything that happened. That's a fact. There appears to be indisputable evidence of some kind of sexual activity between them. Beyond that, no evidence has been released that the activity was forced or consensual. This is typical in that no one wants their case to be ruined with charges of jury contamination.

The article claims people close to the investigation have leaked information that the maid has credibility problems. She may have lied to the police. If she is the accuser and she lied to those prosecuting her attacker, her credibility is shot, and even if she was ultimately telling the truth it will be difficult to get 12 people on a jury to believe her. Of course she could have lied to hold her original false story together. We don't know.

As for political motivations there is zero evidence at this point, but conspiracy theories tend to swallow up the truth in all sensational cases. Conjecture is not evidence. Conjecture might lead an investigation to the place where there is evidence of what was believed, but the belief itself means nothing.

I would expect a chart to show via directions, progressions returns etc, to show some kind of stressful time about now. Whether he is innocent or guilty, it is still stressful. Even if a chart showed something that indicated congenital difficulty with the truth, it does not follow that he lied about this much less that he lies about everything. On the other hand he could be as guilty as sin. We don't know and the chart is unlikely to tell us.

Well it's not political motivations that I have a problem with, it is the constant lying by politicians and the lack of an immoral character in the natal charts:

"No WMDs"
"Babies being killed in Iraq"
"Gaddafi's men using viagra to rape"
"This photo was taken while we were watching the assassination of Osama"
"We vow not to increase tuition fees if elected"
"This Libya conflict will last days"
"There will be no ground invasion"

I could go on and on, it's not a conspiracy theory that politicians lie. I would expect that to be in their natal chart but I don't see it in a lot of them.

Konrad, I wasn't referring to you. I was referring to a social phenomenon that crops up every time a sensational case becomes known to the public. The conspiracy I had in mind was the one that his supporters came up with long before your post, i.e. the whole thing was a set up because they wanted him out at the IMF. I'm sure there were people that wanted him out, but I prefer evidence to conjecture. I could also propose that she seduced him, and is looking for a hefty lawsuit settlement. I have no evidence for that either. That was my only point regarding conspiracy theories. Right now there is no evidence that this woman was part of any grand conspiracy to get him out at IMF. There is apparently evidence that she lied, but we don't yet know why.

Politicians lie all the time, so does everyone else. People lie to themselves. In the great democracies, we vote for the politicians, and in some cases because they tell the lies we want to hear. Not too smart, but it's life.

I understand that Tom, and I'm not badgering you on your views on life, but the lies which politicians tell effect millions of people. I would expect to see something of that in some chart, be it their natal charts or their nation's chart, somewhere, and I have yet to come across someone who knows where. For me then, there is something missing as it is not reflecting life as it is.

We could be looking for something too specific, i.e. "lies," and instead we should look for general poor character. Traditionally the places we might look are the part of spirit, the Moon, and ASC and its Lord.

IF we use out of sign aspects, and I admit I am uncomfortable with them, Saturn is Rx in Leo on his part of spirit. The Moon is in the 9th in Aries and Moon doesn't seem too happy in fire signs (cold/wet moon in hot dry fire), his ASC is in Leo and the ruler in the 10th, honors coming to the native.

Gotta run my ride just came.
