Match result anulled - Interesting case study.

The Norwagian Football Association has ordered that the match between the Norwgian 1st division teams Alta and Nybergsund on July 25. 2010, 69N55, 23E12, at 18.00 CST, is to be replayed in accordance with a protest delivered by Alta IF.

The situation occurs in the last minutes of the game when first the home team, Alta, takes a 3-2 lead after a goal scored by Petter Larsen. The referee quickly re-started the game - before Alta are finished celebrating their goal and Nybergsund immediately goes up into attack and equalizes. The match ended 3-3 and a draw.

Video recordings from the match have positively proven that 6 of the Alta players still were on the Nybergsund side of the pitch at the time the game was restarted. The football association has thus concluded that the referee was in error according to the associations rule no. 8, which say that all players must be on the right side of the pitch - and thus concluded and ruled that the match will be replayed at a later date.

Chart details:

The Moon is detriment in Capricorn (the ref), VOC and square the Midheaven. The game ended a draw - but in conclusion the result was anulled.

This doesn't happen very often!

Nybergsund FC have appealed against the decision that says the game against Alta must replayed. The reason is a number of unanswered questions:

No one has said who will cover the travelling expenses if Nybergsund FC (and supporters) have to travel to the very north of Norway to replay the match, and two of Nybergsund's top players have already served quarentines for yellow cards delivered in the game that now has been annulled.

The rematch no one wants to play

To solve the problem of travel and expenses, Alta have now offered to withdraw their protest against the 3-3 result and referee judgement in the match played against Nybergsund on July 25. But the Norwegian Football Association, NNF, have now said that is no longer an option now that the complaint already has been treated by the NNF and a verdict has been given.

The president in the Norwgian Football Association has said that the NFF is not comfortable with the fact that Nybergsund feel unjustly treated and open up for the possibility of covering the expenses caused Nybergsund upon another 1100 km journey up to Alta in the extreme North.
