Cheese slicer thoroughly Axed

The company Thor Bj?rklund & Sons AS of Lillehammer, Norway, employing 15 people, has declared bankruptcy. This occured on Monday 28. September 2009. Thor Bj?rklund was a Norwegian cabinetmaker most known for his patent of the cheese slicer. The story says that Thor got irritated by the fact that he couldn't get thin enough slices when he cut his cheese with a knife. Besides, the cheese used to fall apart into pieces. On February 27. 1925 he took a patent on a tool that today is known as the cheese slicer and has been taken in use all around the world. Although for many years it was a souvenir and novelty many tourists took with them home after a visit to Norway.

A chart cast for the day the patent was granted will show the Moon in the sign of her exaltation, Taurus. Saturn turned retrograde in the 15 degree of Scorpio only 5 days earlier and there is an exact opposition between Mars and Saturn across 14TA-14SC. This opposition is mediated by Jupiter at 15CP and Pluto at 11CN. It is a mystic rectangelum, which is probably the first natural response of anyone when confronted with a cheese slicer ('How on Earth do I use it??'). The lunar eclipse of August 6. 2009 at 13AQ43 forms a tight square (actually a Grand-Cross) to the opposition of Mars and Saturn at the time the patent was taken.
