31 by Paul oops i'm editing this. My original post was in answer to the question without having read all the posts through to find the update that Olivia posted. My bad. My interpretation was that if we use the second house for the RV, as it is a movable possession, then we see that Jupiter and Saturn are in opposition and seperating - the friend came as close as she was likely to to getting that RV. The mother's money, Mars, was in her 9th House. Perhaps she'd spend the money on a holiday instead. (I originally wanted to delete my post, but opted for editing it as I couldn't find a delete button. Is there one?) Quote Mon Jan 25, 2010 9:03 am
32 by Olivia There isn't a delete button - don't worry about it. I really think it was those two oppositions from 2-8 involving debilitated planets that did it in. Quote Mon Jan 25, 2010 10:07 am
33 by PallasAthene Paul's approach is succinct, which is how horary should be and it gets to the right answer! Thanks for the update Olivia. Very useful although I do feel sorry for your friend. Quote Wed Jan 27, 2010 12:28 am
34 by Tanit I've been looking more at sinister/dexter aspects... Besides Venus in the 7th house of open enemies, the Moon-Venus trine is sinister, so it is also a bit dysfunctional. Not to mention both peregrine, if you don't count Dorthean dignities. Quote Wed Jan 27, 2010 9:12 am
