Interesting game to watch:
Arsenal- Portsmouth 22nd of August 2009 15:00
Sun 29 Leo - Moon 29 Virgo - AS 4 Sag
*I have only 3 games from almost 7000 with Sun and Moon both on 29 degree of a sign
Looking on Arsenal astrostat for this games I noticed that there is a strong evidence for a surprise:
- Moon in Virgo: +5% chance to Lose the game and -15% chance to Win the game (compared with the average)
- Vertex in Cancer (I'm start to give more attention to this point): +6% chance to Lose the game and -10% chance to Win
Also lookin of Portsmouth stats the same factor are sustaining the 'surprise' result:
- Moon in Virgo -8% chance to Lose , +11% chance to Draw and -4% chance to Win
- Vertex in Cancer -32% chance to Lose and +26% chance to Win
It will be interesting to watch this game and maybe you can find evidence using your technique.

Yes very interesting and I appreciate the vast amount of data you're dealing with here but it's hard to imagine anything other than the in-form Arsenal (who thumped Everton 6-1 last weekend) beating Portsmouth (who are very unstable due to their uncertain future). Let's wait and see

I don't see any possible upsets in the chart ; though ManU may be a bit vulnerable again.
Has anyone noticed that Tottenham Hotspur are top of the table? |

The start of this season in the UK Premier League has been rather unusual. There have been only three draws so far. Looking at the historic results the average has been about 30% of matches are drawn, that is about three a week.
This set me wondering about draws and if there are specific indications for or against a draw in a match. Looking at the previous season (UK Premier League) there are days/times when there are a cluster of draws. For example, 22 Nov 2008 has six 1500 start matches and three were draws, as was the 1730 match. On 29 Nov 2008 there were five matches starting at 1500, three were draws. On 31 January 2009 there were six 1500 matches, four were draws.
This kind of clustering makes me suspect an astrological effect
The only indications I have found so far are that Moon in Aries produces an excess of draws and Moon in Gemini less draws than average. Also, Moon in the 6th produces more draws but in the 7th almost no draws.
Has anyone else noticed indications for draws? |

Hi GB,
I can only agree with you in saying that I experience the this years season start as rather unusual. I have not got hold of the new league yet. The new-comers B'ham and Wolves seem to require the league to be re-organised. Fancy Liverpool being in such a mess. What a grand start for Tottenham! I thought Everton might impress (another 'Liverpool'-team) but no, and then it it is ManC that succed in coming quickly out of the starting-blocks.
It will be interesting to see whether Birmingham and Wolves manage to keep their pace, because this seems to have rather a disruptive influence. No balance, no draws?
The draws - that is funny now you say it. I haven't got a clue!
In League 1 - Leeds are making their intentions of advancement to the Championship next year clear at a very early stage. _________________ http://www.astronor.com |

Hi GB,
I think it's rather difficult to generalise but the indications you've found involving the Moon will be interesting to monitor. The fact there were no draws at all in the first weekend of games is definitely unusual. Last season this occurred only once - 27/28 Sept (Moon in Virgo).
I usually go for draws when there are equal testimonies for both sides or no testimonies at all. The 'nothingy' charts have often ended in 0-0 draws. Another indicator that Andrew was the first to pick up on is when the hour ruler and Asc ruler are in the same triplicity in the chart.

Transiting Uranus conjunct their natal Sun - an unexpected and surprisingly bad start to the season for them.
I don't know about anyone else but I've found a lack of clarity in the charts for the one-off games so far this season. Let's hope things improve so we can try and make a few predictions. |

The Championship
Newcastle - Leicester, 19.45 BST
Odds: 1,70 3,45 4,75
Asc 1P58 MC 22SG33 Moon 25CP35 VOC, POF 19CN02
Day Moon Hour Sun - Sun and Jupiter are friends?
Jupiter, L1+L10, is sextile the MC, yet intercepted and inconjunct POF. Either way, that is the only place there is any action. Mercury, L7, is slow, intercepted and will receive the square of debiliated Mars - and Mercury is in his detriment.
One point from this match is enough to put Newcastle at the top of the Championship table together with WestBrom and that would agree with my prediction on the thread covering that league in particular. I can't decide whether to go for a home win of a draw. The inconjunct aspect is the signature of an outsider, significators are intercepted and the chart radicality is under question. _________________ http://www.astronor.com |

I've gone for a draw. Moon VOC, L1 quincunx POF and chart not radical. Also noted Moon partile sextile antiscion L7 but not convinced of its effectiveness.
Earlier I went for Palace to beat Peterborough which ended in a draw I'm hoping this evening's game will recompense. |
