You might NOT hav come across this but if you take data for a planet and plot it in say Excel excel can't comprehend that it is wave form.

Say daily positions were 50?, 100?, 150?, 10?, 60? you'd get a graph like this

when you'd want it like

Excel doesn't know that it should stop plotting at 360?, break the line, and start again at the bottom on 0?.

It tries to plot a continious line.

If you'd tried to do this then you'd know what I mean.

Someone must have solved it because I've seen astrological data plotted successfully.

A bit hard to explain but look at the two wee graphes I've graphs I've drawn and you'll get the point sooner or later.
