Eclipses 1 by Yikkes! Hi Folks, I've enjoyed Celeste Teale's book on Eclipses and I'm wondering if you've got some pointers to follow up work or people into Eclipses ? I'd appreciate it. Thanks, H. Yikkes! Quote Sat Apr 25, 2009 2:18 pm
2 by Andrew Bevan Considering that you are asking for further ideas and material on the subject, I offer this article from 2006 that I chose to give the title Al H. 3 by Mark I've enjoyed Celeste Teale's book on Eclipses and I'm wondering if you've got some pointers to follow up work or people into Eclipses ? I like her books too. I dont work with modern rulerships myself but I still like Celeste Teal's writing style. There are a number of interesting articles on eclipses here on skyscript: http://www.skyscript.co.uk/eclipserules.html http://www.skyscript.co.uk/eclipsecarter.html http://www.skyscript.co.uk/shipelwell.html http://www.skyscript.co.uk/kingscross.html http://www.skyscript.co.uk/eclipse.html In terms of further reading I recommend Derek Appleby and Maurice McCann's book Eclipses - The Power Points of Astrology. It presents a more traditional view of eclipses than Teal. Its selling for ridiculous amounts on Amazon.com but you can still pick up a really cheap copy from this UK book seller: http://www.midheavenbooks.com/acatalog/Eclipses.html As thou conversest with the heavens, so instruct and inform thy minde according to the image of Divinity William Lilly Quote Thu Apr 30, 2009 9:31 pm
4 by Andrew Bevan I'm wondering whether Jansky's work is so common among astrologers that this is the reason why we haven't mentioned it. There is a good section in De Vore's 'Encyclopedia of Astrology' and Norstrand's 'Precepts in Mundane Astrology' is worth having on your shelf for several reasons. Pearce's 'Textbook on Astrology' is worth adding. I am sure that we in the future will have research teams that go deeply into the Saros. http://www.astronor.com Quote Fri May 01, 2009 1:00 pm
5 by Tara Wendy Guy has created some amazing spreadsheets using Celeste Teal's system of tracking and rating eclipses. If you're interested, you can contact Wendy through her website: www.evolvingdoor.ca. Tara Quote Thu May 07, 2009 3:34 am
