Football Predictions April 2009 1 by Ficina FA Cup semi-finals at Wembley - Chelsea v Arsenal, today at 5.15pm BST (-1), Asc 0?16' Libra The game is played on neutral ground so I'm giving the Asc to Chelsea who are faves. This also fits with the colours - blue for Chelsea, red for Arsenal. Venus L1 has just turned direct but is hardly moving. It's also on 29? which I often see as being the end of the road in cup competitions. However, antisicion Venus sits slap bang on the Asc. Chart is radical (Asc ruler and hour ruler in same sign) but hour ruler Mars is L7. I think it will be a close game but Chelsea will probably just edge it. Man Utd v Everton, tomorrow at 4pm (-1), Asc 17?43' Virgo ManU are odds-on faves so I'm giving them the Asc, although I think colours would put them the other way round (Everton blue, ManU red). L1 is trine Asc within half a degree. Chart is radical by nature. Looks like a win for ManU, especially as their natal Jupiter is trine match chart MC. I'm feeling rather unsure about Chelsea/Arsenal and would welcome others' views on either or both games. Quote Sat Apr 18, 2009 1:19 pm
by Andrew Bevan Chelsea - Arsenal Venus is exalted and casts her antiscia to the ascendant. This is a must for the blues. Nothing red about this one! The lord of the hour, Mars, is in the same sign as the lord of the ascendant, Venus - radical. I go for Chelsea too! ManU - Everton Mercury is lord of both Asc and the 10th - cast her trine to the ascendant. Venus is lady of the hour and rules the Asc by triplicity - this could be a draw. The Moon applying Jupiter, L7, could be a testimony for Everton. Interesting...! However, the Moon is past Jupiter, the chart is radical and Mercury trine Asc in Virgo should be deciding. No suprizes. I think it will take more to topple ManU. Yippi! The feral Moon today caused me to back a selection of 5 favourites. Me win ? 80! http://www.astronor.com Quote Sat Apr 18, 2009 3:54 pm
by Ficina Chelsea 2 - 1 Arsenal It was 1-1 for a long time, then Chelsea got the winner in the 84th minute. Quote Sat Apr 18, 2009 6:11 pm
by Andrew Bevan Bravo, Ficina! We might point out that the Gunners took the lead in the 17th minute, too. That made it a double effort for Chelsea to capture the match from that point. I have the Chelsea victory today together with ManU winning tomorrow in a duplett at 3,9:1 odds. Halfway there! http://www.astronor.com Quote Sat Apr 18, 2009 6:12 pm
by Andrew Bevan Funny thing I noticed. In the Belgium Jupiler League there are 6 games. In the 13th-14th minute of play there was suddenly 3 goals. They were all away goals, too! 19:19 Mouscron 0-1 Standard Liege, Onyewu 13' 19:19 Tubize 0-1 Charleroi, Mujangi Bia 14' 19:18 Club Brugge 0-1 Mons, Jarju 14' The most impressive development being the underdogs Mons scoring against the favourites Club Brugge who are playing at home. I can't spot what released the sudden rush of away goals, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. http://www.astronor.com Quote Sat Apr 18, 2009 6:49 pm
by Andrew Bevan ManU-Everton 0-0 after 120 minutes. Then Everton won 4-2 on penalties!! The draw is OK by me - the Lady of the Hour rules the Ascendant by triplicity - but how did Everton win the pentalties? Well, I have got a thread under the Tradition Techniques Section called 'Lunar Cazimi'. It would appear that Jupiter is in the Heart of the Moon and not yet separated from her body. So this would seem to be a case in favour of such a 'cazimi' effect. http://skyscript.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4260 Both Lord of 1st and Lord of 7th were cadent. Maybe that explains why the decision was so hard to reach. Last edited by Andrew Bevan on Mon Apr 20, 2009 9:59 am, edited 1 time in total. http://www.astronor.com Quote Sun Apr 19, 2009 6:01 pm
by Andrew Bevan 5 out of 6 games played in the Norwegian Tippeligaen (Elite) ended 1-1 on Sunday!! All games started at 18.00 CST, except Vaalerenga - Brann 1-1 that started at 20.00 CST. The game that didn't end 1-1 was between Stabaek and Molde. This game started at 17.00 CST and ended 2-3. All teams scored! http://www.astronor.com Quote Mon Apr 20, 2009 5:55 am

by Andrew Bevan You are of course perfectly correct! Actually, I think it was a trick mistake. My subconscious must have known you were somewhere out there! Nice to see you again, Gem! http://www.astronor.com Quote Mon Apr 20, 2009 10:01 am
by Ficina Yes, well done for picking up on the draw, Andrew As for Everton winning, it would make sense using the colour method because I think Everton would've got the Asc and had the benefit of the L1 trine. Your lunar cazimi idea is interesting though. Something to look out for in the future. Re weekend scorelines, four out of the seven Prem games ended 1-0 - exactly the same as last time Moon was in Aquarius (21/22 Mar). Quote Mon Apr 20, 2009 10:52 am

by Ficina Hi Gem, I'm wondering if Algol sitting there might mess it up Interesting that the Moon/Mercury aspect perfects just at the end of the first half. Quote Fri Apr 24, 2009 4:15 pm
