Monday's game in the Premiership:

West Ham - Spurs, 20.00 GMT
Odds: 2,60 3,25 2,60
Asc 9LE28 MC 19AR26 Moon 23AR33 POF 15SG53
Played in the Hour of Saturn - not radical.
The betties have this game going either way. Mars, L10, is conjunct fortuna and the Moon is in the 10th and casts her dexter square to Jupiter through signs of short ascension. I think this means that the home ground may be defended.

Hi Andrew,

What about hour ruler being L7? This has helped the away teams in the past. I groaned when I saw L10 conj POF again. Which way will it jump this time? :? Anyway, I'm going for a draw. It will be interesting to see how it turns out.

I'll go for West Ham then. I think, Ficina, that if the chart is radical and the Lord of the Hour holds greater dignities on the descendant than the ascendant (ie radical by same powers as either sign on asc. or its ruler) - then the away team gets it. I am not sure how this works when the sign is not radical. There is a qualitative difference. I would like to get to the core of this. I would personally hold Spurs as favourites, therefore I think non-radicality goes against them. 8)

This one from Thursday's games
Lens - Montipellier 0-2, 20.45 CET
Asc 24LE20 MC 10TA02 Moon 7GE43 POF 11AQ53
Played on the Day of Jupiter, Hour of the Sun. Radical.

It might seem strange that I am including a retrospect on this match, but I found something interesting. I was expecting the favourites, Lens, to win - considering also that POF was conjunct the Moon's North Node, but it didn't work that way. Montipellier received a red card in the 78th minute, took the lead in the 89th minute and a second goal in the 90th (probably overtime)!

The explaination I think lies in the position of POF, who casts its antiscia to the 19th degree of Scorpio, the cursed degree. This messes it up for the favourite. POF is fixed and cadent and the deciders come late in the game 'when all hope is out'.

Hi Andrew,

I have Asc 10?13' Leo for this chart. If I've got it right, then it looks very similar to West Ham/Spurs chart with South Node conj Asc which Susie pointed out. Interesting that the away team also won that game with the same scoreline.

Thank you, Ficina! I seem to have selected an erronous alternative from my gazetter! :-?

Is there enough in the correct chart to predict a 0-2 vivtory to the awayteam? SouthN is almost 2 degrees separate the desc.? Saturn is inconjunct the MC through signs that see eachother (?) but there is no antiscia. The exaltation degree of Saturn, who is L7, is on the cusp of the 4th.

Oh well, let's keep monitoring!

Saturday's games:
Most of today's matches start at 15.00 GMT, which in most cases will be in the hour of Venus. In many of these locations the Moon's North Node will be on the MC and the Moon at 13LI06 applies to the trine of the Lady of the hour, Venus, who also is her dispositor, and located at 14AQ33 in the 10th house.

I am picking out some favourites and going with them. Wolves, Millwall, Hull, Villa, Darlington, Leicester, Scunthorpe and Rushden & Diamond. Let's just see how many of these teams manage to win their games.

And a Merry Xmas to everyone!

The 12.45 GMT game between B'ham and Reading ended with a 1-3 victory to Reading. The Moon was L4 and applying by trine to Venus, L7!

Last month when we had Moon in Libra and Sun in Sag, there were quite a few surprise results in the Premiership so it will be interesting to see what happens this time.

West Ham v Villa, 5.30pm GMT, Asc 20?47' Cancer
Villa are faves but not odds-on. Moon is hour ruler so chart is radical but Moon is also L1 and this scenario often produces a draw. However, with L7 partile conj IC I think this will give Villa the edge and I have gone for a win for them.

Good luck with your predictions, Andrew. I shall keep an eye on the games you've picked out.
