The triplicity rulers

1
As you know, in Dorotheus? scheme of the triplicity rulers the participating rulers are as follows:
Fire ? Saturn
Earth ? Mars
Air ? Jupiter
Water ? Moon

The participating rulers of Ptolemy are as follows:
Fire - Mars
Earth - Saturn
Air - Jupiter
Water - Mars

There?s confusion as to whether to include the participating triplicity rulers in calculations or not, but in the scheme of Dorotheus above, if we change the places of the participating ruler of Fire, Saturn, and the participating ruler of Earth, Mars, or in the scheme of Ptolemy, if we replace Mars with Moon like Dorotheus has done, then all the planets would reflect the nature of the element they rule:
Fire ? Mars
Earth ? Saturn
Air ? Jupiter
Water ? Moon.
That would give quite a good reason to include the participating rulers. If one uses the sect ruler and the participating ruler only, excluding the out-of-sect ruler, then the participating ruler gets quite a lot of weight (ruling always its element regardless of the sect), but if the participating ruler is of the same quality that the element it rules, it would seem more justified.

In fact CarO points out here http://altairastrology.wordpress.com/20 ... -geniture/ that Schoener has done just this in his scheme of the triplicity rulers.

Schoener's scheme goes as follows (day ruler - night ruler - participating ruler):
Fire: Sun - Jupiter - Mars
Earth: Moon - Venus - Saturn
Air: Saturn - Mercury - Jupiter
Water: Venus - Mars - Moon.
