I consider myself painstaking and accurate, but I have had to submit to the fact that I sometimes I try to entertain too many enthusiasms at once - and football is football. I wish we could demonstrate a higher accuracy - but occasionally our results are quite invigorating. Hopefully, my errors show up at the forum and it is not something I my clients are subject to. On the other hand, I try not to take myself too seriously and 'Sports & Speculation' is 1) an excellent playground, and 2) a constant reminder that predictive skills is an issue that needs to be worked on.

Selecting the correct tools and realizing the limitations of prediction seems to be half the exercise. Dicipline is the key to success in all things.
