Could anyone be so kind as to point me in the direction of a good source for researching the demographics of astrology practitioners? I am very interested in the historical demographics of astrology and it's evolution into today's society and the demographics of practitioners today.

One obvious choice in the United Kingdom is the Sophia Centre for the Study of Cosmology in Culture at the University of Wales Lampeter.

I believe Nicholas Campion is the course Director. They have done numerous pieces of research on astrology and astrologers. For example Campion's own work on what astrologers believe. I dont know about other demographic information: gender, race, region etc but they seem worth trying if you are pursuing a serious research topic.
