Almost all the good advice on how to post a chart to this forum is worthless. I have been trying to post a chart here for hours for God sake.
Can anyone post a description on how to do it please? For example I went to tinypic.com and when I hit the upload button I was transported into cyberspace listening to some moronic advert. It kept repeating the same instructions to no good. Can someone post a formula that works? Maybe that young handsome Mark from Edinburgh?

I went to tinypic.com and when I hit upload it appear window "Please help us fight spam/automated uploads.
Follow the instructions in the graphic below:" and when you type text you see, you got the codes for share the image, so there is no problem with that link. _________________ Greetings,

Abraham,
You didn't save the image, you appear to have saved only the Thumbnail for the actual image... |

For users who do not follow the News section of skyscript, I made a web app to create astrology charts. You can follow the Charts thread at http://skyscript.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8573&start=0.
My suggestions are:
1) Use Charts (available at http://apps.flatangle.com/Charts/) to generate a PNG image. I prefer Transparent background images.
2) Generate a 500x500 pixel image or resize a larger image to a width/height of 600px, to fit skyscript dimensions nicely.
3) Upload the image to a image host provider. I strongly recomend http://postimage.org/.
4) Copy the url given by postimage.org at Direct Link.
5) Paste the url to a skyscript message using the img tag, like [ img ] paste the url here [ / img ] (remove empty spaces in the tags).
Preview and you should get something like this:

used 90% reduced image size
I am replacing this chart with the original chart which I used 75% reduction.
I've used internet explore and I posted a chart using "flatangle" but somehow it does not work anymore.
So I tried with Fire Fox and it worked so here's the chart (see below):
Update: Above chart was posted on Sunday,June 11, 2017. On Monday, June 12, I went back to flatangle but again won't let me create a chart.

I used tinypic.com but it failed. All that showed up was the tinypic logo itself. Then I used postimage.org and got a working link posted.
All this is just testing for the future. |
