Hello again:

Searching the above mentioned link I found an interesting thing about William Lilly:
He compiled a book entitled:
THE ROYAL GRAMMAR Compiled formerly by Mr. William Lilly.
I downloaded immediately curious to see it.
Strange :o . I was used with the astrologer: William Lilly

Can you explain this: RECURSOS ELECTRONICOS WITH PALABRA CLAVE)??

When I tried to access the texts they asked for a username and password. OEB is free to college students who are attending a college that subscribes. Everyone else has to pay. At least that is how I understand it.

Tom

if you follow the link

For those of you who don't have much time (like my situation would be different :lala)
I will put the direct link to some of the important books of this library

I shall start with William Lilly:

Two famous prophesies and predictions of Mr. William Lilly, the most judicious and learned astrologer of the age [Recurso electronico] : taken from his secret writings, penned by him in 1644 : the former of which, exactly pointing at the times, by foretelling the mischief, danger and misery these, and other Protestant kingdoms, should be exposed to, by the crafty counsels and treacheries of the Romish priests, and by what means their deliverance should be wrought.

Thank you, Sasha, for posting this. I think I have figured out how to access the files.

First of all, the books are scanned PDF copies of non-copyrighted material.
Some of them may be difficult to read due to quality or style. There is,
however, a wealth of information available free of charge. When you go
to:

http://astrology-books-at-uca.notlong.com

you will be presented with a list of roughly four hundred books (417 at
present) on several pages. Look for:

Versi?n electr&oacutenica Mas...

underneath the book you are interested in. These are the ones freely
accessible. Click on:

Versi?n electr&oacutenica

A large PDF file will open (you will definitely need broadband access).
Once the entire book is downloaded, you will be able to save it to your
computer (it's not possible to right-click the link to save the file directly).

If you want to narrow your search (the link above will give you all books
discussing astrology), type something next to 'astrology' in the search box
(between the two drop-downs 'PALABRA CLAVE' and 'Recursos
electronicos'), and hit your Enter key or the button that reads 'Buscar'. For
example:

http://astrology-lilly-books-at-uca.notlong.com

will give you all books having to do with 'astrology' and 'lilly'. Some of
these will be by William Lilly, others about him.

It is possible to search by author: select 'AUTOR' in the left drop-down and
enter the last name of the author you are looking for. For example:

http://lilly-books-at-uca.notlong.com

will bring up all available authors containing the term 'lilly', including
William Lilly. You can then click on the name you're interested in to get a
list of books. Many other searches are possible, one only needs to know a
few basic words in Spanish (Google can translate those easily for you).

A wonderful resource!

Sorry to contradict you aquirata but the link that you provided which is the exact link that I provided in my first post doesn't present you the whole collection of books related to astrology.
let me give you an example: we have a book with a title like prognostication or other word but no astrology in the title. in this case the searching machine is useles.
that's way I provided also a second link with titles of the works related to astrology from the same library.

http://www.clas.ufl.edu/users/rhatch/pa ... ology.htm

Anyway important is to find as many as we can.

Should I continue posting direct link to some of the important works? or should I let people go directly to the link that you mentioned earlier?
