The Domaican Republic lost 19-42 to Norway. This was no suprize. Bookies wouldn't even accept bets on who would win the match. But the suprizing thing is that the Domanican Republic scored the first goal of the match which gave over 4:1 in odds to who ever spotted that option.

The match started (couldn't say 'kick-off' could I?) at 18.15 GMT
The exaltation degree of Jupiter was on the Asc, with Jupiter conj Pluto (Norway), Mars almuten of the Des - Mars rising.

There is never actually a question regarding who should win, but the Norwegian team was criticised afterwards. :-cry

Well, I'll be blown! Angola beat Austria 33-22!
That was quite a clear cut, if you ask me! :,

I think we'll stick to football! :-sk

In the curling match that went wrong today, Mercury, lord of the asc was exact opposition the asc. Now in the handball match, Mercury is dispositor of Part of Spirit (nocturnal), and in exact opposition again!

This chart is virtually the same as the ManU/Fulham one, so the positive testimonies for the Asc team are also the same. Moon square Mars (L10) and sextile Sun (L1). Those JF Moon aspects do seem to work

Ficina says:
This chart is virtually the same as the ManU/Fulham one,
Yes, I noticed that, although the odds did show that Angola were the favourites, I didn't consider ManU and Angola to be quite of the same league.

Under a given constellation, do we assume that all 'home teams' or all 'favourites' win? Or do we have to balance the odds. If in the ManU/Fulham match - ManU being favourites and at home - if ManU performed below par and Fulham above par, then maybe that would have been sufficient to knock out the odds.

At the WC Handball championships in Lyon there could only be one 'true' home team, which would be France. My reasons for picking out the Austria match among 2 or 4 matches playing at the same time was due to the Moon in Libra, which often gives fortitude to the countries represented by that sign. However, it didn't work. However, Moon in Virgo did work for Birmingham on Sunday!!

I think it is important to make sense out of the chart and the gaming situation so that the astrological verdict may be correct in 4 out of 5 matches. This is crucial if you want to make a profit - and keep in mind that estimating the football results is not a 50/50 issue because many matches end as a draw. Other questions of this kind cannot end in a draw, like the one posted on who will win the European championships in Football. Here somebody has to win, but there are more teams in the race. :)

Romania-SouthKorea, Dec 6., 13.30 GMT, Lyon
Odds: 1,25 14,00 4,35

Asc 23AR26 MC 11CP15 Moon 9SC22 PoF 18PI45
Mars angular, in triplicity. Venus, R7, detrimented. Sun is almuten of asc and in own triplicity, elevated above Venus. [Watch up Sun squ Uranus!]

No surprizes in this match. Romania win 31-27, after SouthKorea was one ahead by half time.

A bet on Romania gave a nice addition to the account.

Tunisia-Congo, Dec 6., 19.30 GMT, Lyon
Odds: 1,75 11,00 2,25
The result of this game is more open to speculation.

Asc 1LE49, MC 13AR34, Sun 14SG18, Moon 12SC49, PoS(n) 19GE51
Tunisia ruled by Cancer (Pisces), Congo is Virgo according to Bills.
Tunisa is the asc - the Sun, ruler of asc, is trine the MC. Congo is the des with Saturn in Virgo. Dispositor of Saturn, who is Mercury, is combust and applies to Saturn by square. I give advantage to the 'home' team.

This evenings handball matches belong to the 'IKF President'sCup', which is a contest between teams that got knocked out in the first round. The Moon is VOC and these teams are going nowhere!

Tunisia-Ukraine, Dec.7, 19.30 GMT Lyon
Odds: 5,00 14,00 1,20
Tunisia gave Congo a thrashing yesterday, but I decided to go with the favourites, Ukraine. Tunisia is ruled by Cancer, which is on the 12th.

Anyone have an opinion on which sign represents Ukraine?

On Dec 11. I played:
SouthKorea-Hungary, time 15.30 GMT
Odds: 4,00 13,00 1,30
Here I went for the favourites because PoF was trine Venus (+2deg09)
However, Pof is only 2deg37 from Mars. The underdogs, SouthKorea, won!

Romania-Germany, time 17.30 GMT
Odds: 1,85 10,00 2,25
The PoS(n) was square Venus through signs of Long Ascension.
I went with the favourites, who won!

------------------------------------------------

Today there are 3 matches:
Angola-Germany, 12.00 GMT
Odds: 4,75 14,00 1,22
Hungary-Russia, 14,30 GMT
Odds: 4,25 12,00 1,30
Norway-SouthKorea, 17.00 GMT
Odds: 1,20 12,00 5,40

In my opinion the first match is most exciting, because Angola have put up a good fight and beat France!! But I go for the favourites because PoF is sextile Mars. In the 2nd match I go with the favourites, Russia, because PoF is trine both Uranus and Venus. In the 3rd match I have simply been lazy and gone with Norway by default! :lala

8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) :' :o :brows :'

Wow!!

Angola-Germany 29-35

Hungary-Russia 35 -36!!

And what a fight that last match was. Hungary had a 5 goal lead on Russia at least twice, but Russia kept fighting back to take the lead with 3 minutes to go!

Now it is up to Norway and although the favourites are getting it right, it is the first time I have staked a tripplet and it looks like it might be right! :'

Get your teeth wrapped into this chart! http://www.astronor.com/071213Romania.gif

Romania-France, 19.30 GMT
Odds: 1,65 10,00 2,50

The PoS(n) casts a square through signs of long ascension to the Sun, so the favourites, Romania, seem to be in advantage. But then you notice that Saturn, lord of the 7th, casts his antiscia to the MC. And Mars is exactly square the antiscia of PoS(n).

France should win!
----------------------

Update!
24-24 It was a draw! Check the odds! Romania eventually won 34-31 after extra time but that has no importance for the bets. So I lost the stake, but how interesting!!

Saturn, Lord of 7th, casts his antiscia to the MC which is in the very degree of his fall. Prehaps that creates the stale-mate. The Moon in the 7th casts a quincunx to his dispositor which brings in the real outsider.
