This could be another opportunity to try out Gcoa's theory.
Moon is VOC in Scorpio, disposed by retrograde Mars.

I talked about Moon in fall, not Moon in fall and VOC! With VOC Moon we have "3rd dimension" and that is "Usually favorite wins or draw". But I always chack out if there is suporting testimonies for win or draw.

Regarding outer planets, J.Frawley said Pl is important if tere are some aspect with POF or APOF or conjuct with L1 or L7.
Ur, same, aspect with POF or angles. Ne no effect.

I feel pretty pleased with myself, having turned 50 to 159 in 9 days, but I can see I have missed on trying some long shots. My score is 16 wins out of 24 games. Leery

In comparison, if I just followed the favourites by odds then the favourites have won 21 out of 24 games. If I had followed this strategy alone, my 50 would have turned to 217. Sick

A 3rd strategy, betting only on games were my expectations agree with the favourites (by odds), I would now have had 196. Confused

While this might seem to show that the betting experts always are best, this summation does not take into account that I varied my stake according to risk. Exclamation

I wasn't going to look at the Brighton/Forest game for two reasons. 1) I used to support Brighton in the dim and distant past and I still like to check how they're doing, so I'm somewhat biased. 2) Whenever I try and predict games outside the Premier League, I tend to get it wrong.

Moon VOC often indicates a draw, but those three antiscial testimonies that Laurie listed would indicate a victory for the away team, Forest. Anyway, I can't see Brighton winning but in this case I won't mind being wrong!

Great comments on the Brighton/Forrest game everyone!
I think I learnt something here! Did you used to share in the beer with the boys after the match, Ficina?

I am interested in the curling final between Norway and Scotland today (see separate post). This is like a cup. Scotland beat Denmark in the semi's under a VOC Moon. I do not think that improves their chances in the final today, because their victory yesterday would take them nowhere!

Laughing And the girls!

Villa have scored an own goal for Portsmouth. What a classic for Jupiter conj Pluto! It happened just as Pluto had crossed the MC.

Wow! What a terrible afternoon Sad
Norway lost 3-6 for Scotland in the curling final and Villa lost 1-3 to Portsmouth! What went wrong? I've got more questions than answers.

Sick

Well, I cannot help you with your curling match, but Portsmouth followed the script Thumbs up
It made me a few euros.
It's a classic: L1 narrowly conjunct Pluto, and more important: Moon square Fortuna.

I hope you didn't lose too much and I commiserate with your national curling loss Smile

Now she tells us! Just kidding Smile My fault for not spotting it beforehand.

Following on from my comment about Pluto crossing MC, all four goals were shown by planets crossing the relevant angles. It was the same in the Brighton game. This was a method I abandoned long ago because it wasn't reliable. It probably still isn't, but I think it's worth watching. As far as betting is concerned, you get a much better return by predicting the score.

That's OK Goca. Thumbs up Good to sum things up and recapture after the matches have been played and the results are up and out in the open.

Fancy getting the Villa game wrong. I thought it was a question of adding up the testimonies and ruler of the Asc in own sign on the MC seemed to be the easist case for the home team. The very same configuration in the curling match! Shocked Sick crying

The proof is in the Pudding!

Is this Moon 2SG46 square Fortune 7PI28???

Goca - I read your post. I couldn't see how it made sense - but you were right on every account..

I do not think so. Do you see that tight conjunction L1 with Pl? That is very bad sign, being so tight is maybe worst from that combustion of Me because Me is abouth 6 degree from Su! Be carefull!

Wouldn't Mercury combust be weak for the away team? Confused

Blimey! Reading have beaten Liverpool 3-1 Shocked The goals were neatly reflecting planets crossing angles up until 2-1, but then Reading scored another one. Don't know where that came from.

Now this time I did see antiscion PoF conj Asc (Reading) but it was on the cadent side and I've noticed recently that this kind of testimony hasn't always worked when the planet/point has been on the "wrong" side of the angle. It certainly worked this time though!

When you have 1 bad sign for one team and 2nd bad sign for another team you probably question yourself which is worst? In that case keep with this rule: THE CLOSER THE STRONGER. That's why I said combust Merkur is on 6 degree (from Su) and Ju is on 1 degree from Pl, so this is less bad for Me than for Ju!

I had got Liverpool to win aswell!!! It seemed a safe one.
I missed 5 bets in a row!! Arsenal had better be default tomorrow! Shocked crying

Weren't Liverpool accused for match-fixing previously in the week for an 8-0 victory??

Let's go out and get drunk, Ficina!
