From astro.com forum I got these answer:

"The Imperial Astrologer calculates it as the year of the Yang Metal Horse, month of the Yin Earth Ox, Day of the Yin Fire Rabbit.

In the Solar Calendar (usually used for the Year Pillar) the Chinese New Year started on 4th February 1871. The lunar new year was on 19th February 1871.

Alice"

Alice knows Chinese astrology, Vedic and western, so I believe her.
Mario, do you have some chinese astroprogram who calculates these elements? Are these data for Sauit Africa OK?

The Chinese New Year starts the day after the second New Moon after the Winter Solstice. There was a New Moon on the same day as the Winter Solstice on 22 Dec 1870. The Sun entered Capricorn just after midnight and the New Moon occurred just after midday, but I suppose since it was the same day it didn't count. So the New Moon on 21 Jan must have been counted as the first one, and 19 Feb the second one.

Sorry about that, Goca, but it was one of those awkward years Smile

OK Ficina, it is important that we agreee about that. I must admit I have no idea how it works...

I have eventual explanation why France do not win:
Sheep compatible with pig=9
sheep=yin earth+ yin fire
year of birth= yin earth
2007=yin fire+yin water+yin wood
so we have
2 yin earth
2 yin fire
1 yin water
1 yin wood

Fire "produce" earth, but too much earth decrese water, that decrease produce wood, so flame is not so big.

But for England Yang Metal Horse
Horse and Pig are not so compatible=6
Horse=yang fire
year of birth=Yang Metal
2007=yin fire+yin water+yin wood
so we have
1 yang Metal
1 yin fire+ 1 yang fire
1 yin water
1 yin wood
yang Metal+yin wood=Metal
Metal produce water, water wood and wood help fire to burn! All will be OK if we do not count that Horse and Pig are not so compatble. But from future investigation we will see what is more important, year or element...

BBC sport:

"South Africa will play England in the World Cup final after beating Argentina 37-13 in Paris. "

Quote:
S Africa v Argentina
Moon squares Saturn (L10)
Antiscion PoF conj Asc - I've found this works in footie charts. It's just over 2 degs, so might not be close enough.France and S Africa are the favourites so I'm giving them the Asc. Anyway, with Jupiter so strong I think they will be close contests but the faves will prevail.

Wel done Ficina Thumbs up , congratulations!

I got ASC=16Ge06
I would asign ASC to England if thay wear white sport kit.
DSC=S.Africa
Ruler of ASC Me is rx in unfortunate 6 house, under Sun's beam.
Ruler of DSC=Ju right on DSC!!
AD for Me=-7 for Ju=13!
I found this chart is very interesting. Why? Because we have Ju, ruler right on DSC, Acidently dignified, direct, against Ruler of ASC, Me Rx accidently not strong, but with Moon in 10th house right on MC!! Moon will first sextile Ju and than conjunct Ne rx in 10th house (do we work with modern planets?) What will be prevalent?! I think it will be Ju!

I think this one is really, really difficult. I'm giving the Asc to South Africa because they are the favourites. As Goca says, Jupiter (L7) just inside 7th and receiving sextile from Moon looks good for England, the underdogs, but is it enough to turn over the odds on faves with the Moon in 10th so close to the MC?

It's a real dilemma. My feeling is that the Moon's aspect indicates that England will get points on the board (unlike last month's encounter when they lost 36-0 to SA), but that SA will win. I could well be wrong but I do find it hard to believe that England can beat SA.

So Goca and I agree on the winner but for different reasons Very Happy

Not sure about Moon conj Neptune. Might mess things up for the fave. Hmm, we shall have to see....

Another way of looking at tonight's World Cup final is that England are World Cup holders/champions so they get the AC. I think the castle besiegemnet technique would give the main sig to the 4th ruler but they don't live in Paris, let alone own an castle there, though the 4th cusp may get more significance, with the Moon opposing there.
So even though the Moon on the MC often favours the AC team, when their sig Mercury is so weak, the game may not go to England, but remembering the interesting things Lee... were saying about Jupiter-Mercury, you never know...
