31 by ### It?s spooky, and downright scary. I just found out who the Mystery Man is. It happens that I almost mentioned him by name in my last post. I was right. I am the more interesting of the two. Quote Wed Sep 19, 2007 9:17 pm
32 by 3D Very interesting, profound post, Steven. And very instructive for me. You wrote Since Mercury is closest to the cusp of the Ascendant, I think his livelihood is strongly Mercurial in nature because Mercury rejoices in the Ascendant sign ? had Mercury been joined to Venus while applying I might have been inclined to say this native is involved in the arts in some way. It is not so I deem that his livelihood is gained by speech, writing, and philosophy, the science of numbers, or astronomy or astrology even. I have different data here. Mercury is slower than Venus, getting slower and conjoining Venus about 10 days after birth. If that counts as applying (like Solar Fire does), would it change your interpretation? While checking that with a graphic ephemeris, I saw the cluster of favourable progressed aspects around the age of 30, +/- 1 and 1/2 years. Jupiter (p) sextile Sun ? Mercury (p) conjunct the ASC ? Venus (p) sextile Sun ? Sun (p) conjunct the ASC ? And Mercury (p) conjunct Sun (p) Venus (p) conjunct Jupiter (p) This should have been a good period of time for the native, especially since it is supported by the Primary Direction (direct, in mundo, Ptolemy key) of Jupiter to the ASC. 33 by Tom Hi All, I apologize for taking so long to reveal this individual, but I'm up to my ears in work (the kind I do for pay), starting early and getting home late, that I just haven't had the time. I started a "revealed" post, but didn't get to finish it. Please bear with me, I'll take care of this shortly. Thanks for your patience. Tom Quote Tue Sep 25, 2007 10:53 am
34 by PFN I did not read Steven post as that is starting to become like cheating... Choleric, Fleumatic Researcher, possibly a doctor. Mars, ruler of AC also rules the 6th house, diseases played a part in his life, trining Saturn, posited in MC, and the Moon, that was one of the reasons that he became famous for. Mars posited in his 2nd house shows that it was his source of income. A noble, religious man of deep beliefs, Jupiter rules his 9th by Exaltation, where both Saturn and Moon are posited, and being in Sagitarius in 1st shows his character. Sun in Libra disposits both Saturn and Moon, in 11th shows someone with traits of arrogance (Sun on Fall) but extremely capable of service and donating himself for friends and in this case, his own profession, due to aspects on MC. North Node in 9th shows that he was famous because of his knowledge and ideals, South Node in 3rd shows that he suffered resistence on the act of communicating ideas and understandings particular to him, he suffered resistance from his neighbours and was opressed in some way by them. It is interesting to observe that as soon as Mars hits the MC and Saturn, it will also aspect Fortuna in Virgo in the 11th. At the same lenght of time, Mercury and Venus will be reaching the AC. Now, this delineation of mine may not encounter any parallel in tradition except my practice, but Mercury in Scorpio are person's of high ideals, and Venus tends to give pleasure for service in a damaging way to the person. A doctor or a religious man of service in my opinion. Anyway, after writing this I read the answers and got a little bit far from the true answer, but I want to make note of the Nodes and their positions, it usually shows a positive/negative pole in the life of the person and is interesting to be brought more in delineation.
