To get in a bit of practice before the Derby next week, I've had a look at today's racing and like the look of Moody Tunes in the 4.10 at Haydock. Venus in Cancer is conj MC and the horse's Sun is trine the MC. I haven't checked out the other horses' charts which is sloppy I know, but the name seems to fit so well.

My record on the horses over the past year has been abysmal, so please don't take this as a tip Smile

The bad news is the horse lost. Didn't like the firm ground apparently. The good news is I didn't put any money on it.

Thanks for the update. I was wondering how you went on with that.

I'll follow it up with a success story. Not mine of course, but my friend backed two winners today, called Cockatoo and Storm Talk. Mercury in Gemini conj MC in the race charts, opp Pluto. Hopefully you'll all see the Pluto symbolism in Cockatoo Embarassed

Just looked at one horse in this race, but looks a good un.

Lacework.

15:15 Redcar.

Sun conjunct Mars, with a previous Sun-Sun and very wide Sun/Mars aspect on previous wins. Would take a guess at Aries rising.

Haven't looked at the event chart, never do.

Feel free to sign upto my site where I post out tips on horse racing and any other sport.

It also has my way of winning on the horses. But if you're a traditional astrologer, you may need to alter your perception a little.

Ahh good. Before I used to do it with Astrology, I specialised in horses leading all the way then tailing off towards the end.
Not now!

Best record I've had so far is 9 placed in a row, 3 were wins. To place, they have to come 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th - depending on how many horses and the type of race.

See if I can get another....

17:30 Redcar Hatton Flight

Having trouble trying to rectify this one, but settled with Leo rising. Capricorn on the 6th. Saturn trine Sun. 9th April 2004

If you're having a bet Cool just do a little amount and go for the place. It's running in a couple of days again.

Do you only look at the favourites?

No, I look at every horse in the race.

Always start with the favourites as that's what the bookies think and they tend to know these things. It is thier business.

Here's a little stat for you. You work out the averages of the number of winning favouites at any course, it should be around 33%
Now is that just coincidence, or some excellent odds making by the bookmakers?

I've got Hatton Flight as third favouite behind Parks Prodigy and Monets Lady. Using Racing Post as a guide.

1st winner was favourite.

When looking through the horses, starting with the favorite, if I find one that fits, I'll pick it without looking at others. All depends on my rectification. Just like the 1st race.

Ah, OK. I just wondered because you went for Authorised in the Derby. Also Oddschecker has Hatton Flight as the fave.

Yes, the bookies generally win overall. 33% is definitely the average for winning faves.

Good luck with the 5.30! Do you listen to the online commentary?

Hatton flight 3rd. Thumbs up

Might be worth checking the ride again in a couple of days.

Ended up favourite, but I always go by the Racing Post forecast, though no astrology in that forecast. Never really take much note of who's backing it and where the money goes. Helpful, but stick with my opinion which can be slightly wrong at times. But I'm always right.

Didn't listen to the commentary as my laptop is being fixed and this computer doesn't seem to like installing the sound card. i like watching the racing, but my heart can't take it at times.

15:35 Chepstow - Francesco.

Also in the 16:10 - lacking data, but went for Mae Cigan, with a bit of indecision on Penang Cinta.
