Society of Astrologers

1
The Society of Astrologers is a newly formed association developed to support students and practitioners of traditional western astrology. The website is at:

http://www.societyofastrologers.com/index.html

SoA specifically aims to support the knowledge of traditional astrology as practiced in Europe between 1200-1700. It has a rather unique constitution in that there are no officers, no elections and the Society holds no funds. All decisions are made, as much as possible, by consensus and consultation, although there is an advisory board currently consisting of Benjamin Dykes, John Frawley, Robert Hand, myself, Lee Lehman and Christopher Warnock.

Membership to the Society is free and there are two types of
Membership: Associate and Practicing. Associate Membership is open to all, but only those who have or are able to show some mastery of traditional astrology can become Practicing members. You can become an Associate member by joining the Society Network at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/societyofastrologers/

More information about becoming a Practicing member can be found on the Society web site. (The Society maintains a Directory of Practicing members http://www.societyofastrologers.com/mem ... ctory.html and only Practicing members are able to place posts and notices on the Society Network).

Do go to the website to learn more!

(Sorry for ther double post, but I felt it was necessary to place this in the traditional forum as well as the general notices section).
