My initial thoughts are, Saxon Warrior is rightfully the short-priced favourite.

I quite like Hazapour.

Anyone astro-playing this race?

I posted this earlier in the week under Racing Classics. I still go with these.

On Friday we have the Oaks and Saturday the Derby. I am old enough to remember the Derby being mid-week, on Wednesday I think. Progress I suppose. Initial thoughts are:

For the Oaks I am looking at Forever Together (VE in Cancer).

In the Derby the favourite is Saxon Warrior (odds-on), which I will give a miss. It won the 2000gns. Perhaps Young Rascal might work for UR in Taurus.

There's a lot of noise for me on these races, but I'll say:

Oaks - Magic Wand

Derby - between Hazapour and Saxon Warrior.

The Oaks is a tricky one.

Nine, 3 year old fillies who all have had less than 3 runs.

Wild Illusion or Give And Take might fit in with Mars in my charts...but, I have no view in this race.

I've reached the point now, where I need to balance my racing astrology against actual ratings.

Something about...so above, so below.
