Norwegians are confused why 15 have died due to the Swine Flu in Norway, while only 2 in Sweden, 1 in Finland and 0 in Denmark.
I am now getting in horary questions in from people who have been infected. I will add this data to the thread in the horary section. _________________ http://www.astronor.com |

Now tell me is it of interest that the Spanish flu was first detected in Mid March in 1918? is that coincidental or? I"ll look at this data verses the data I have on the Kansas breakout of the spanish flu to see if there are comparisons and get back with you, I just felt the need to say, yeah, maybe we shouldnt' be so off hand with this pandemic. well my two cents for the evening.

Here is the chart for this Summer's Solar Eclipse cast for Oslo.
The eclipse degree is rising in Oslo, although the eclipse was not visible at this locality. The degree of Mars' fall was on the ascendant and Saturn was on the lower midheaven. Maybe this explains why the epidemic is hitting Norway relatively hard.

I would add that those malefics are in humane signs thus indicating human illness.
Anyone worried about infection should remember simple prophylactic measures. Cough and sneeze into a tissue and dispose of it straight away. Wash hands frequently as germs can linger on hard surfaces. Door handles and such like should also be kept clean.
Best wishes

Note that in the eclipse chart Mercury is in 8° Leo. This is where the star cluster Praesepe is. Mars is about to transit this cluster, and therefore the Mercury of the eclipse chart, this weekend.
Although I barely look at fixed stars and nebulae in astrology, I was reminded of this because my astronomy annual mentions this weekend Mars being in Praesepe event. It will be interesting to look at with a pair of binoculars.
Apart from the transit through Praesepe, the transit of Mars over Mercury could be significant as Mercury can mean youth http://www.skyscript.co.uk/mercury1.html In Ptolemy's list of ages of humans Mercury is also listed after the Moon for the youngest with Venus and Sun following. In the Netherlands, several young children and adolescents have died because of the Mexican flu. |

A little on the side, but years ago I was monitring Mars/Saturn aspects in cases of the 'Crib Death'. By analogy, afflictions involving Praesepe could also be looked into. _________________ http://www.astronor.com |

Another explaination for why Norway is getting hit hard by the Swine Flu should be found in the Autumn Ingress. Look at this:
The first house, it's ruler, and planets in the first house signify the people. _________________ http://www.astronor.com |

A mutation of the Swine Flu hs been discovered in Norway, Aftenposten reports today: Link.
The new variation of the virus fastens itself further down into the respiratory system and is more serious, but a new vaccine is not required. Health authorities reassure that there is no need for pannic. The mutation is to have been observed in other countries, too.
Lab tests were sent to London on Tuesday, where the mutation was confirmed.
Check the Astro*Cartography for the most recent lunation as discussed in another thread: http://skyscript.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4892 _________________ http://www.astronor.com |

| Report from the Netherlands; 6 people were reported to have died, most of them had another illnes that already had weakened them. The epidemia is said to be milder than expected (18 in 10,000 cases). Today there was also the news that the second vaccination that is given two weeks later usually is not necessary. |
