been a while since I worked up a relationship chart, I asked the question to myself does this person have strong feelings for me, romantic interest, type feelings. Pretty much I asked this question because it is a friend whom I like and respect but I hadn't really thought of him that way and he's just made an occasional remark and such that made me wonder.

so the specifics. 21:02 hours, 8th june 2008
34 N 12 by 119W 11 (feel free to Use Los Angeles, CA if that is easier for you)
ascendent 1 Cap 55 so a bit early
Saturn for Qurant, Moon for Quessited for simplest answer? shows moon aproaching conj with Saturn in 8th house
if you look at Venus and Sun for romance as also suggested in the romance section of Skyscript well Venus is a few minutes from conj Sun, but in 6th house
Pluto is on Ascendent and Trine Saturn and Moon, within 3 degrees

I'm thinking my simple answer is yes, there is interest there, but the chart looks as though that is an oversimplified Answer that more is going on? anyone care to speculate?

I will add that I would expect to see him as Saturn, not me, he is a very authoritative figure, and I would generally think I'd be more moon like, but hey, it is what it is. Is it too early for judgement? this is a person I've known a fairly long time and would not expect a relationship to develop with him, which is not to say I dont admire him greatly, just not what I would expect. Being around him for any great length of time is exhausting.

Anyway I thought it an interesting chart and would appreciate thoughts on it. my personal take is yes, but no one is going ot take it anywhere? becuase of the houses and signs involved. Virgo being barren, and being in 8th, and venus sun in 6th isn't any better really as they are restricted in 6th and square uranus. but possibly I'm not seeing things as someone else might?

Hi Granny,

All the usual disclaimers about me being new to horary, etc....

I would say that there's a "yes" somewhere in there, for all the reasons you just noted, particularly the Moon-Saturn conjunction.

However, I would note the early ascendant, one of the interpretations of which is, according to Lee Lehman, a "failure to put anything in motion."

Also, both the Moon and Saturn are in Virgo. Maybe thee are some kind of feelings present, but both of you are a bit timid, or just not interested enough to actually make a move. Or perhaps the relationship is of interest only as an idea, but lacks the impetus to become an actual reality. The Sun and Venus in the 6th house echo that Virgo theme.

Would love to hear what everyone else has to say.

Based on the chart I'd say yes there is interest. But it seems to be more of the idea of a relationship. You know the type, you think to yourself what if?... but it doesn't go anywhere, for a myriad of reasons.

Pluto adds intensity so anything involving the two of you would be all or nothing. My advice is if you are REALLY REALLY interested in this guy make the first move. I don't think he'd turn you down, but I don't believe he will make the first move.

All the best
