Yesterday:

Anthony Van Dyck, Lingfield 14.30. Painter - Neptune on Descendant, Saturn day and Saturn hour all in all dark silks, Al-Kindi Saturn hour, face of Sun turned chart gives white markings on feet.

Dandy's Beano 20.15 Thirsk. 5th cusp square Mars in Gemini - two boys' comics!

Guineas weekend - We could have said OBrien both days but there seemed little point with the number of runners - ascending degree.

Random initial thoughts for today, ascending degree with the chart thrown in for good measure, along with fingers crossed and lucky heather.

Killarney 14.40 Elimay is ascending degree, also High School Days which is also 5th cusp trine Mercury, Mars hour chestnut mare.

Leopardstown 14.50 all ascending degree gives Trethias, Mona Lisa's smile has Neptune on the descendant, Firefly has Sun hour and Mercury trine 5th.

Three serious races this week, although two favourites predicted. All at Epsom.

Friday 31 May at 15:10 the Coronation Cup: Communique.

Friday at 16:30, the Oaks: Pink Dogwood.

Saturday at 16:30, the Derby; Sir Dragonet.

21
Coronation Cup. If it's still paying 3 places Cypress Creek at 100-1 looks interesting EW.

Oaks. Pink Dogwood.

We were close with the Oaks: Pink Dogwood was 2nd by a neck.

I had used Addey, although I don't think John uses that. With Addey I have seen quite often that it gives a placed horse, so I was happy with a close 2nd. Perhaps the winner Anapurna somehow fitted the astrology better, but I can't see how.

Happy enough with the 2nd.
It's a stretch but 5th cusp next aspect is sextile Uranus Moon conjunction in Taurus. Annapurna is a mountain named after the Hindu Goddess of food and nourishment.

Derby 16.30 Telecaster.
